Angry The Cluck - Tuesday, May 27

tiptoeing into the henhouse very quietly......

The robins who live just outside my window started the morning serenade at 4 today! No wonder they call them featherbrains! Once I'm awake I may as well get up so here I am.

I have someone coming at 7:30 this morning to get perennials. We sold out on Saturday so I told folks I'd be digging more on Tuesday. This woman is also an early riser so.... I sure hope it stops with the rain before then. I did a bit of gardening yesterday morning and it was just plain miserable!

Coffee badly needed. Back in a bit.

tiptoeing out of the henhouse very quietly......

SLAM!

Sorry! I always forget about that door!

Good Morning Ladies! I just wanted to peek in to say hello! Trying to get used to checking in on message boards again. Well I have had a very productive weekend I think. 5th day on induction, no serious cravings yet (hopefully never). I finally got my energy back yesterday, so I decided to paint the nursery, which I have been putting off for some time now. If anyone is wondering, no not pregnant, I was in December and lost the baby during my 4th month. So we have decided during our "waiting period" to get the nursery together since we already purchased furniture, etc. So I should be home free bout time I do get pregnant, which hopefully will be the end of June or early July! Well gals time for me to get back to some of this desk work (Urgh!) My goal is to shed some poundage before July.
Have a wonderful day!

Good Morning Everyone

Well, I think Ive finished rolling around in the gutter eating hoho's and Lindt chocolate. Im back on track this morning, and feeling really really crappy!! So, no it wasnt worth it.

I have been gaining and losing the same 5lbs for about 3 months now, and its getting very discouraging. Changes are being made, and I know with my pcos, it has to be very hard work to get the fat off. It sticks like superglue when I reach a certain point. I know what I have to do, and I have to get over the lazy part of me and do it! So, today is the first day on my road to 155lbs. I can do this!

Ive been keeping myself busy. Hubby and I cleaned out the front garden, got up some more of that weed papery stuff. Cleaned out the back yard garden. Then entire yard is garden (he doesnt like to cut grass) Transplanted an astilbe to the front garden and see if it does better there than in the back, and an Iris that I found and didnt know how it got in the back. It got moved to the front too.

We went to a garden shop yesterday to find plants for our planters out in front of the store, but it was just so busy, that we took the plants we chose and left them. They had guys in the parking lots directing traffic. I think I'll wait and go without the impatient hubby

The truck wouldnt start again yesterday, called the towtruck guy, and he boosted us. This morning hubby is at the dealership with the truck with strict instructions to NOT return to get the truck until they find and fix the problem!! Last time we took it in I mentioned the remote start and that it might be linked to the wiring. Well this lowly female doesnt know what she is talking about right?? Well, the towtruck guy yesterday said the same thing! Soooooooooo, guess I have some logic in my brain afterall?! Men, all of em

Ok, I think Ive rambled off enough its time to get ready for work.

I hope everyone has a great day
Robin

Well, It sure is quiet around here.

Well, I did the walk-1 mile to be exact-that is pretty good for me! Now if I can just get back out there tomorrow--and the next day--and the next......
Then I went to the store and loaded up on protein stuff-well at least I got some-and back home to clean and nap--I forgot how crappy I felt going through carb withdrawals or whatever last time. Stomach ache-tired-irritable-and actually I am shaky too-sheesh-if only I would stay on this then I would not have to put my body thru such turmoil!

Well, hopefully it won't rain this afternoon-DD has a game and I would love to get it in instead of postponing it.

Drink your water gals!
pooky--are you Ok?

I'm slow moving today, I think I got a touch ofyour stomach virus Rachel! Spent the afternoon in and out of the bathroom (I know, TMI)

Making some pork chops and brocolli for supper and M is watching Dora the Explorer--her fave show after Scooby Doo.

Robin, I am in a slump too--PB&J sandwiches are forever calling me--I think it's the Wonderbread really. Here's hoping we get out of our slump!

Miss, I am just fine, just need to keep on my meds and take it easy now and then and I'll be back in top form soon.--way to go on the exercise!

Tonya, welcome to the forum! And to all our newbies--WELCOME!

Ruthie, glad to hear Harry's "hole" is clearing up. And I bought an electronic collar for Rosie since she would go out of the citronella canister in about 10 minutes! Has worked very well and has received tons of praise and treats from me. Let's hope it sticks!

Have a great day everyone!

Looks great.....and so do you! The bench even looks comfortable which I frequently find not the case with twig furniture. I love the look of the driftwood and the earthy-tones cushions.
Tres Martha!
