I am still in bed and have to get he kids up/ older boy is off to the Symphany with his class and has to wear jacket and tie today. I must say, i think they look great all dressed up.

Cooler today here but the sun is still shinning so again it is all good!

I am going to the gym and then coffee with the Goils, and then off to the mall to return a ton of stuff.

Back again. Thanks for the reminder re sunblock, L - I burn very easily and notice I get burned even in the greenhouse. We forget about SPF lotion too darn much. I should put it on as soon as I wake up. We don't need any more skin cancer in this household!

I am so frustrated over my taxes! Usually I can do them with no problem (I used to work for the department) but this year they are more complicated because of the condo sale! Yikes! It looks like I will be paying for the first time ever! I hate giving the government money. I'll take one more stab at them this morning and then am sending in the whole works - they can figure it out and tell me how much I owe! (Not really but I am a bit uneasy about my calculations this year.)

Harry (the new perkier Harry) is going off to bottle wine this morning. He also suggested we go out to dinner tonight - not lunch, DINNER! We have decided to have as much fun as possible (as nobody knows what the future brings) and he is starting to get the idea. We are also going to go out for breakfast once a month and do a lunch picnic once a month too!

So, nice relaxing bath, get into gardening duds, finish the blasted taxes and then outside for gardening.

And it's HUMP day! Where is Tazcat, by the way?

I have to drop M off at preschool and then whiz into Orillia for a quick grocery shop and pick up M's pictures.

However, the most important news of the day is I have clean water! The well man removed 2 ft of silt at the bottom of my well (what a disgusting thing it was too). He shocked my system after with some chemicals so that meant we couldn't go use water for 24 hours to let it have a chance to work. So where did we go? The Chinese food buffet of course! And oh...am I paying for it this morning, let me tell you! I tried to eat as low carb as possible but the MSG is just killer. LOTS AND LOTS of water today.....

Ruth, watching my sun worshipping aunts start too look a bit leathery, has prompted me to use spf ALL the time. Vanity before health won out for me lol Im glad though that Harry is coming around and enjoying things again

Making inukshuks still, Ive had to try a couple different glues. Today, I'll go in and try to pull them apart to see if the glue worked! Then I can varnish them, and put on my new labels

Im on my own again today, hubby is out on a job site.....hopefully we will have a busy day. Last day before the rent is due

Good morning ladies! A beautiful day in Tennessee! Had some thunderstorms last night but nothing serious.....

I am at work and have so much to do I don't know where to start. I hate that!!!

Hoping my South Beach Diet book comes today - in the meantime I am bakc on induction - I have felt crappy for the last week so back to the protein and water.

Day 3--
I do not have a whole lot planned today, just the normal boring stuff-housecleaning, dancing later(the girls) and maybe the tanning bed--I know, and I won't forget the sunscreen

OP yesterday-foodwise anyway, felt the need to relax last night and had a few LC beers, I know we are not supposed to have alcohol on Induction, but honestly that is an outlet for me after the kids are in bed. I do not get sloshing drunk, but a few LC beers are usually calculated into my night.

Pooky-glad you have clean water-nothing worse than cloudy water, and when our well needs cleaned it starts having an odor also--yuck!

I just found the error in my tax calculations. I owe only $175 instead of the thousands. There was a programming error in my tax cal program - MY program as I wrote it myself. That'll teach me to be such a smarty pants!
I'm off to the post office and then to the garden!

Whoo-Hooo Ruthie!! It is always a good thing to not owe as MUCH money!!!!

Well, my day has been rather boring! I cleaned the basement, and straightened up the upstairs, tanned, then went to Tori's school for recess(my favorite subject) then her and i went to mom and dad's bar and had some lunch, I had a grilled chicken salad and it was yummy! C ame home, took a short nap, and now we are getting ready to stop at my mom's then go dancing. I RREALLY NEED SOME WORK!!!! I mean real paying work!

Just had my afternoon snack, and still OP--can't get much better than that! Water quota already met too

GinaMarie-Are you out there lurking? Just wondering how the re-induction is going, I have not checked my KetoStix yet, I'm thinking maybe tomorrow or Friday I will.

Scooby-Dont you just love the sound of thunderstorms? I do, I could just sit and listen to one all night! I wish I could come help you out at work, I need somthing to occupy my time lately!

Hi gang. Mid afternoon here in the west. Another gorgeous day so I did a bit of gardening after my morning swim. Trying to work up to gardening slowly because I get so darned achey. There's SO much to be done out there and I'll never get it all done. I wore my new gardening clogs for the first time. Not bad at all. I had to wear socks with them though, as with bare feet they "farted" with every step I took. It was either wear sox with them or die of the giggles.
Ruth, I'm glad you found the error. I haven't done my own taxes in years. I just bring all my info to the accountant along with our company books. It's worth the money to save me the stress. I just found out that we have a WCB audit coming up soon. I hate audits with a passion and I really don't need this pressure but I've been there and done that and so far they haven't found any problems with my books (knock on wood). It's just such a hassle and WHY US??? Well, I know why. He told me the last time when I asked. I guess if your income or payroll changes radically from one year to the next, it sends up a red flag to the powers that be so they want to take a closer look. Well, one of the reasons that our income is so much lower is that we no longer get as much business from the same WCB. Sheesh. Also, Peter isn't getting any younger and is slowing down so we just don't bid on the biggie jobs anymore. Basically we're just making enough to live on these days.
I'm also trying to fill out some gov't forms to get Peter a new Permanent Resident's card. Would you believe he's lived in Canada since 1961 and has never gotten his citizenship?! Hasn't got time, he says. Too busy working to pay the gov't taxes. LOL Anyhow, I'm sure it would be easier to get his citizenship than it is to get this new permanent resident's card. His old Landed Immigrant's card could have been forged by anybody. Didn't even have his picture on it. Now it's like getting a passport with photo, guarantor, etc. And for guarantor they want somebody like a judge or lawyer or doctor who has known you over 2 years. We don't know anyone like that. He hasn't even been to his doctor in 10 years. LOL He's never even met our accountant, but I'm going to get her to sign the guarantor paper. She said she will, if I drag Peter in to meet her finally. What a guy I have! Work, work, work is all he thinks of.
I weighed myself today and I put on 2 lb this week. Possibly just fluid retention because I've been very good on this S outh Beach Diet and I do think my clothes fit a bit looser. Still, it's discouraging when you think you're doing everything right only to GAIN!! Rats!

Well, just got home from dancing--next week is recital--I am so glad, you know by fall I am ready to take on all these activities for the kids again, but by May I am about wiped out from it!

Just had a salad with some taco meat for supper--I hop I am not over doing it on the lettuce today-it has just been quick and easy so....I guess if I am going to overdo something lettuce would be the best thing to binge on
