Results from my 2nd fitness assesment
The results are in....exercise does work.
After 8 weeks as a gym member (4 of those weeks I actually made it TO the gym) here are my results:
Body Fat down 1.1% to 30.6%
Chest Before: 40.5 After 38 -1.5 inches
Waist Before: 36 After 31.75 -4.25 inches
Hips Before: 43.5 After 42.5 - 1 inch
Total so far -5.75 inches!!!!!
(We also did calves, arms, thighs, and I lost a lot of inches there too, but Jon didn't write all the numbers down.)
Also my sitting reach increased from 18.25 to 21. I have gained a lot of flexibility.
Great results for only having lost 3 pounds, huh? (according to the gym scales) I'm not 100% in agreement with the Chest measurement though, the sports bra I was wearing was squishing the puppies. I wish I could have found the one I wore the first day of measurements.
Anyway, I'm happy with the results and I guess I'll keep going to the gym til I'm all buff like and in one of those Ms. Fitness pagents you see on ESPN. Don't worry, I'll be sure to thank all of you when I accept my crown and sash.... oops, sorry, I got delusional for a minute. Off to bed for me.
