drive by clothes tossing

  • well, you've all read about goodforme's FORMER fiance... and the fact that she tossed all his stuff out the window. frankly, she was very kind and gentle IMHO.

i had one friend who cut ALL her ex's suits up with pinking shears before she returned them.

and another one who filled the bathtub with hot hot water and soaked the suits for several hours [adding more hot water as it cooled] before returning them.

so, post away!!! ! what's the funniest/most vicious/strangest thing you've ever heard or done in a break up?

i'm pretty peaceable, but one of my fiance's NEVER got his favorite album back. not that i liked the album [and this was before CDs], but i certainly wasn't going to return it!!! We ran into each other about 15 years later, and he asked about it.
  • I can honestly say I haven't done anything really outrageous during a break up but when I have had fights I've emptied dresser drawers and threw a hot bowl of corn against a wall and broke it. Usually I get back at them in a more civilized way--I go shopping--BIG TIME!
  • well, I was about to toss an engagement ring down the toilet when I got real smart and pawned it for 90$ and took my gf for lunch in downtown toronto Thats about as outrageous as I get.

Sherrie, hang in there......he may just be having those wedding plan stress problems. If he isnt, well.....I hope his lawn was good and muddy!! Men can be such idiots!!
  • NO FAIR!!!!! I don't have a former fiancee or ex-shdh....... I have no funny stories except for the one by that adorable country singer "Where'm I gonna live when I get home?"..... oh yeah, Billy Ray Cyrus! now there's a real hottie! Anybody know him so we can maybe intro him to Sherrie?????
  • You guys are cracking me up! I needed a laugh, thanks a lot.

This is definitely the best thing I've ever done to an ex, although there was the time I threw the ring at the guy and clocked him square in the eye. He deserved it!
  • Hmmm,
A tough one! I have been with the same guy since I was 17 so he is out. I think the meanest thing I have done to a friend that screwed me was to give REALLY bad references for employment. It was all the truth, but she couldn't figure out why she wasn't getting any of the jobs she had applied for.

is confession good for the soul?

  • WHAT's A BREAKUP? In out 37 years of marraige we've had lots and lots of fights and threats, but I've never broke up with anyone!!!

Sherry inquring minds want to know!!!

    Did you keep the rock???

  • Well, I do need SOMEthing to remember him by!!!!!!!!!
  • Well, I did have an acquaintance who very politely packed up all her ex's clothes nice and neat and put them on the porch. What he didn't know was that she'd sprinkled hot pepper on the inside of his underpants.
  • The very worst thing I ever did was take my former boyfriends id out of wallet....then I reported his car stolen.....he hada tough time explaining that one..........
  • Scooby2, that is SO funny. Did he know it was you?

My husband is also my first boyfriend. It's been 11 years and not much has happened. But it is fun to read about!

  • I don't post here much, but this thread is funny! I did this in high school, mind you, it was kind of childish, but man was it good clean fun at the time. I had been seeing this guy and it turned out he pretty much just wanted me for a prom date. So to get even, my girlfriends and I got the subscription cards of all the "girly" magazines in the library, like Cosmo, Harper's. Seventeen, etc....We filled in his name and address and sent them in. He must have gotten at least 10 different woman's magazine subscriptions in the mail. I STILL giggle about this. It was such an easy thing to do! We typed them, by the way, because we thought we had to cover our handwriting! LOL Back in the day when people still had typewriters.
  • Sometimes the sweetest revenge isn't anything you do at all. I had this boyfriend in High School, his parents thought I was the greatest thing since sliced bread, and they still do. He's a jerk, dumped me, and to this day his parents still talk about how much they miss me. Thing is they even say this in front of his wife, who has pretty much made him miserable for the last 10 years. I didn't do anything, and still got my revenge. I guess the wife is a real psycho, and he can't leave cause she'd probably end up with the kids. I think I came to realize that it wasn't him I was so crazy about, but his parents. Wish I could trade in my in-laws for them.
