G'ood evening everyone...... I FINALLY got back home. Remember I said I needed to be in NYC by 9ish so I was leaving at 7:30? Well, I DiD leave by 7:30, but didn't get into to the city until after 10:00!!!!!! traffic was the pits -- AND they were stopping and checking all trucks going into the mid-town tunnel - which, while a royal pain in the butt, DOES tend to make one feel a "LITTLE" bit more secure, if not a whole lot. Also, when leaving the city tonight, I noticed that there were police officers at EVERY lane going into the tunnel and they were glancing into ALL of the vehicles...... my truck was filled with my equipment and supplies, but I guess I look "safe" (after all, I AM a grandma !!!
) but they DID look......
To all my chickie sisters who are struggling: ME TOO ME TOO ME TOO!!!!! I know that somehow we WILL manage to get thru this hard time and get back to easier days...... we will we will we will!
Ruth - how many copies of the video did you order? did you send them out as Christmas gifts?
BTW, thanks so much for keeping an eye out for a PWD for me - I have been dreaming about it A LOT!!! Your Hershey is so gorgeous - I forgot to tell you, ILOVED your pics!
