Thought I'd start a new thread now that another week is upon us. Hope you all enjoyed your weekend.

nikki, glad you had a nice anniversary, and what a nice surprise that your DH was home to be able to spend the day with you. You must be getting very busy now getting ready for your surgery. I wish you the best of luck and a very speedy recovery. We are leaving this coming Sat., and I can't wait to get out of here! It has been sooo cold these past few days and I'm very tired of it. We're supposed to get some snow from that storm that hit Washington DC and is now hitting NYC. We're not going to get the amount of snow that they're getting. Your garden sounds wonderful. You will have plenty of veggies, and fresh right out of the garden are the best.

Hey, what happened to the weekend? Seems like it just came and went really fast.
We were covered by that storm. I don't know how much snow we ended up with, but the driveway was so drifted in, there was a snow drift up to the car windows and over 30 feet long and at least 5 feet wide. The snowblower quit running last year, so DH had to shovel it all by hand. Good thing he's been working out some Today, it's below 0. There is fog and it froze in the air, came down to the ground as snow fog I guess. The trees are frosted and it's beautiful now.
I go to the Dr. tomorrow to be marked. Today, I'm seeing the chiropractor one last time. It will be a couple of months before I can see him again. I'm trying not to go to him at all. Exercise has helped some, but there are a couple of vertebraes that are giving me a hard time.
Well, got to go, your right Aleka, I've been pretty busy.

Good luck with your surgery Nikki!

Everything went well and I'm feeling great. It is amazing how much better I'm able to breathe. I never would have even thought of that, but I no longer feel like I have someone sitting on my chest.

Glad you're surgery went well and that you're feeling a lot better. Are you able to go about doing things, or do you have to take it easy for awhile? If you have to take it easy, enjoy it. When I had my hysterectomy, DH had to wait on me hand and foot. It was wonderful! Actually, that was the only good part, other than the fact of no more TOM.
