Question Is it "normal"?

Hello everyone!

I've been away for a bit so forgive me if this is the same question you've answered a million times already (sorry!)

It's been a full month and I'm very pleased with my results. I've realized what a slow looser I am but nonetheless, it's coming off. The inches are falling off but the scale barely moves (which I still find weird). I've been on induction the entire month and plan to stay there until I've lost the weight (80lbs). I find it easy so it's not a stuggle to stay in induction.

My question is this. It's been nearly 2 weeks and I fluctuate between gaining 1.5 pound and loosing that same 1.5 lbs.

Here are my fitday stats:

Typical day:

Cals - steady at the 2100 range
Fat - 185-193
Protein - 84-95 range.

I've been successful so far and I'm not doing anything different than when I started. The last 3 days I've begun upping my excercise routine but other than that, I've held steady as far as food intake is concerned.

Do these numbers make sense? Should the protein levels be higher?

I'm not sensitive to sweeteners and can stay in ketosis eating them. I have never even tried a shake, bar, bread, etc and don't plan on starting.

I'm hanging in there but would like to know what others think.

Much appreciated everyone!

Tam

If you're exercising, you've probably gained muscle and lost fat. Muscle weighs more than fat, so you've lost inches not pounds. Make sense?

All last summer I was seeing a nutritonalist that used a diet very similar to The Zone. It was lo fat high protein and lo carb. He had us come in every 2 weeks and have ultrasound done on our body fat. In three months I had lost only 12 pounds by the scale but I had lost 26 pounds of fat! I went down in my clothes too. So it is true that uour body loses fat when the scales aren't budging. I'm having myown problem with that and I just have to remember the things I already know and just relax!
