Default Twitchy Legs are back, and Bad Dreams

I need some ideas as to whats happening, and how to fix it.

First of all, Im taking all my supps like Im suppose to. Ive even started taking an extra mag before I go to bed, to stop the jumpy legs.

Second...there isnt really anything stressful happening to cause the dreams or twitches.

The only thing thats different is Ive bumped up my exercise. Along with walking most days, Ive started weight training. Very light weights to start out with, 1, 2, & 3 lb weights. Only every other day.

The dreams started about 4 days ago (strange ones!) ...oh and no, Im not eating or drinking anything before bed to cause them.
The twitchy legs have come back, and they are so bad right now they are waking hubby.

Any Ideas? Id love to hear them

Thanks
Robin

robin how many potassium are you taking?? PP has a great section on supps and reccomend taking 4 of the 99 mg supps a day untill you get over this phase (please take the divided over the day) that usually is the biggest reason for the twitchey legs. and are you constipated?? if so double up on the magnesium daily untill you get under control

please do take more mag also, if you arre losing that much potassium you will aslo be losing mag and even calcium too. these are very important for muscle contraction and nerve xconduction. all 3 can contribute to the twitching and possible the dreams. the Pp book thaty does go into detail is the new PPLP book. if that helps

Robin,
I was going to suggest the calcium also. In fact Dr. Weil recommends 1000 mgs each of calcium and magnesium before bed for restless legs. I also heard that extra calcium supplementation assists with weight loss!! Whoo hoo.
