Need some prayers...

  • I know it is probably strange for some people to pray for a dog but I really miss her and want her to come home! This is what happened for those who don't know--I went to visit my uncle on Dec. 29th in the morning for an hour and in that time my little 4 month old Rosie puppy took off and hasn't been seen since. I have called all the shelters and even had it on the local radio station in hopes that someone has seen her and will call.

Rosie has been a huge part of our lives and is truly missed by Miree who asks for her constantly. Rosie was also helping me cope with the fact that I may not be able to have another child, in essence, she became my baby. I miss her so much..I have been crying constantly and not eating or sleeping well. Please send some prayers for us for Rosie's safe return to her family. Thank you all so much, the most caring group of people I know!
  • You got 'em Pooky! I have been sending them up since you posted your message a couple of days ago. I just haven't had the time to post much!

many hugs to you and Miree and fuzzy little Rosie

  • You bet i will pray for the return of Rosie, I know to well the pain your going threw right now. There are still good people out there & i'm willing to bet that someone will call and say we found your dog & come pick her up.
Till then I will keep her in my prayer's, I had a cat that was my baby & daughter always called him her lil brother. Pet's are not just pet's , they are a member of the family.
  • Sending prayers your way, Pooky. I woke up this morning thinking about your family. Our pets are just as special as our children.

  • Adding you and yours to my list! Sold a dog once to a farmer, he travelled back to my house, 9 mos later if ya can believe it! I almost fell over when he came loping up the street to my door. They know where home is. Keep the faith up!
  • I just came across pictures of my dog, Trixie, who I lost (was abducted I believe, 3 days before Christmas last year, I think someone needed a Christmas present for their kids.) and I though of you and Rosie. I was devastated, I can only imagine trying to explain it to Miree.
  • Pooky - bless your heart! I have been thinking about you since you first lost Rosie....I keep signing in to see if you have found her...keep the faith!!! We are praying for you.
  • Not silly to pray about dogs at all! My dog goes to Church and actually gets blessed every time.
I am keeping Rosie in my prayers and really do feel for you Pooky. Give Miree extra hugs and get some for yourself.
  • Here's good thoughts and prayers for you and Rosie!!!
  • What lies behind us
and what lies before us are
    small matters compared
    to what lies within us.

    Please Dear God,
watch over Pooky, Miree, and Rosie.

    Love to you all,
    Tazcat
  • Sending prayers your way. I know how it feels to lose a dog.
  • Aww, Pook! I will pray for Rosie! That's not silly at all! I will also keep Miree in my heart and hope that she gets her baby back too.

I lost my puppy, Spot, when I was pregnant. She was my baby and then when she was gone, I was devastated. I know how you feel. XXXOOO!!!
  • Thank you all so much, I really hope these prayers work. We still haven't heard a thing about her and I'm terrified she's lost to us forever. Miree keeps asking for her puppy and finally this morning I had to explain that Rosie might not ever come back to us. I could tell she coulldn't understand since right after I said it she said, "But Uncle Gary will find her!" I'm just crushed and I'm praying day and night that some kind stranger will see it in their heart to contact someone and get a hold of us. As time goes on, my hope is slipping away but I am continuing to offer prayers to God for Rosie's safe return. Bless you all for helping us, we know the power of prayer is strong!
  • Sending special prayers your way. I hope your dear Rosie returns soon!
  • Aww Pooky, you know you can count on me. Poor baby.
Prayers do work, I have proof
