Angry New to Atkins.

Hello Everyone!
I wanted to introduce myself to the group... My husband and I are going to be starting Atkins after the New Year. My father does it and he has lost a ton of weight. I am looking forward to a slimmer me in 2003!

If anyone has any advice for the newcomer to Atkins, we would love to hear it! Otherwise I will browse the daily threads to see what is going on. I have learned a lot already!

I have started the Atkins diet Dec 2, and have already lost 15 and a half pounds. It is a little hard at first because your body is going through the carb withdrawl. Some people expierence headaches. But it gets so much easier. Stick with it, and you will be rewarded. This is the only diet where I have to remind myself to eat!LOL! Your cravings go away after the 4th day or so. And are replaced with some energy! As the others suggested, read the book! And also I bought a book called "how to get the most out of your Low Carb diet" This really helped me. Good Luck!
