wow, I am impressed that you haven't wanted to jump on the scale. I am one of those honery people that likes to peek and see what present I am getting

so I when I am doing good on my plan I love to jump on the scale. I go to TOPS (take of pounds sensibly) and have to weigh in once a week. I would rather only weigh once every two weeks or so just so I could see a bigger difference. Now, when I am not doing good on my food plan i really HATE to jump on that scale
I think it is more accurate though, to measure ourselves instead especially if we start lifting weights, etc. I used to weigh myself every day but got a little psycho about it and when it was up I would feel really down. It was ruling my life. Not a good thing. I think I have a better relationship with the scale now and know that the number doesn't make that much of a difference because I can lose and gain water at the drop of a hat. As long as it keeps going down at the end of each month or two months, I just want it to goooo down.
