Well thank you know who Monday is over. I spent the morning yelling at everyone and DH who wants to sleep in every morning. I told him if he needs more sleep he needs to go to bed earlier so he can get up and help with his kids I drive to and from school everyday. It went downhill from there.

My laptop crashed last night. The warranty was up in July. Figures Huh? So I have to figure out what to do. I hate the big puter. Not bed friendly. So I am going to look into a DELL. I have a big charity project to do and if would like to have the portable capability.

So I am glad it it Tuesday and VERY pleased for all of you who stayed OP for Monday. I hope today is just as good for you again. The good news for yesterday is that I walked 6 miles walking off all of my aggravation for the day.be well

Default GOOD ELECTION DAY TUESDAY!!!!!! Make sure you get out and vote today.

Good morning, good morning! L, thanks for the coffee.

dottie, way to go on the OP day yesterday, another today?

jiff sorry to hear about the "not now" letter, fingers crossed for Merck. Another 3 pounds, you skinny-minnie!!

Ruth and all the ladies dealing with snow. At times I envy you the "white beauty" than the thought of the brown slush sets in, and I come back to reality. If we even get the hint of snow in the deep south, this town shuts down tighter than a drum. Thank goodness it doesn't happen very often. We are expecting thunder storms this evening.

Well, as expected "my" band kids didn't make finals. We had a great show, but there were some bands there that were terrific. The messages that everyone sent on the web page were very much appreciated. We have two more games and than we are done for this marching season.

to everyone! I'm off to vote, and to do a few errands. My daughter is out of school today, the schools are used as voting places and I guess the security is too much of an issue. I have no problem with that.

Have a happy Tuesday!
Debbie

'Morning, Chicklettes!

Most of our snow has melted but I'm sure we will get more. If things dry up out there, I may even get the leaves and pine needles raked out of the dog garden area. It sure would make poop-patrol easier! I am a stickler for clean dog areas. By the way, Miss Lucy has finally decided to sleep all night - no more 2 a.m. whining and crying sessions. I think the secret was to have the kitchen completely dark - no stove lights.

Wonderful Gail was here yesterday so my house is very blessed. Friend Rob even came over and lugged the Halloween decorations into the barn loft. Now I need to do some outside cleanup. I'd planned to winter over some gorgeous geraniums but suspect they are toast from our killing frosts of the past month.

L144S - sounds like you had a really horrible Moanday. Good going on the long walk, however. Exercise is such a good way to deal with frustration.

Dottie - a whole perfect day! I'm impressed. Breathe on me, please.

Pooky, why is it that carbs wire kids while they make us feel sluggish? I had a bit of a carbfest yesterday (red licorice) and have the drags today.

Debkay, warm weather sounds great to me. I just might invite myself down there in February. I love to hear about the band - we don't have marching bands around here and I love them.

Dondar - As SIL says, You are an inspiration.

Jiff - that job situation is going to improve! J&J don't know what they missed. I hope your mother doesn't hide the presents or lose them. I can sure relate. My mother used to give away her stuff - she gave my grandmother's tea set to a neighbour at the cottage!

MamaJ - post and tell us how you and your poor purple snoobies are feeling.

Hi to everyone else.

And where is Nasus? Sue, we miss you!

Good Tuesday Morning Ladies!

Had a busy day with exercise and getting back to work after the weekend. I am still taking down Halloween decorations, dh was supposed to help me, but he slept in Sunday until 4:00pm!

And L I go to work at 6:30 am so that I can be home at 3:30 when the kids get out of school. DH is supposed to take care of them in the morning and get them off to school, well lately I have been getting them ready for school over the phone, he gets them up and then goes back to bed! He complains that he is feeling sick (will not see a dr, after being sick for over 2 weeks) and is depressed over work. Sometimes I think he needs a swift kick in the a$$. I complained last night and he said I must be pms-ing - I want to screem!

deb so sorry your band kids did not make it to finals, but they went a long way and have a lot to be proud of.

Pooky, poor Miree, hope she does not get sick over the candy, I am as dismayed as Ruth, why does candy wire kids and put me to sleep, how unfair!

Ruthie, so glad that little Lucy is sleeping throught the night. I am sure more snow will be coming your way, hopefully it will wait until you are ready for it.

Have a great op day!

Back again..............I need a kick in the butt. It's raining......hard, so I have not left the warmth of my home yet to go vote. Will someone kick my arse out the door.

jenny what exactly does your hubby complain about, or do you think it is all tied in with the down in the dumps feeling about his job? In any event, I'm sure it is no picnic for you trying to "talk" the kids into getting ready over the phone.

Pooky the candy highs can be rough on the Mommy and the Daddy, does wonders for the kidlet, can we say "energy overload." Are you ready for the sugar crash?

Okay, I swear I'm going to try right now to leave and go vote. I think I can, I think I can.........................

Just wanted to stop and say Hello on the daily thread. I have alot to do today so I wont be stopping in until my down time this evening.

I have to do some work book work with the kids and then off to the park to gather some leaves and acorns for an art project. We could gather these in our backyard but they love to play on the swings and such and I like to sit on the park bench and read. It's good for all of us. Then maybe we'll take a little walk on the nature trail.

After that I have to go and pick up glasses for DS#3. These are his first pair. He's looking forward to getting them. I would love to stop by Media Play and pick up the latest Rascal Flats CD. But, I dont know if my budget will let me. I still need to pay bills today too. Too much to do in a small amount of time.

There is a ladies fellowship at our church tonight. I love going and it gives me a chance to get to know some of the ladies better but I dont know if I'm going to have enough time in my day to do everything. SIGH!!!!

So until this evening !!

Love to all. Chrissy

Hi everybody, didn't mean to check-in so late...what a day!
Although I am on my TWO WEEK VACATION, I had to go to work tonight for a two hour meeting on Sexual Harrassment. I guess the college boys are safe from me now.

I was to start the kitchen cabinet remodeling today, but Cody was out of school so I put it off a day. It's going to take forever. I have to go buy some primer tomorrow morning because I am painting white paint over Country Blue (Yuck with a capital Y) and between the primer and the sanding and the 'roughing up' I really dread it. Maybe I will stop off at the cabinet section and get a quote! I really don't want to do this.

Jenny, you ROCK with that exercise routine!

Ok, off to upload more recipes. Nighty-night!
