Barb..... I bought the "Walk Away the Pounds" set of 3 (1 mile, 2 mile and 3 mile) which comes with the weighted balls...... I've done the 1mile (granted, I only did it 3 times!! , but still, I DID it!)..... it's not bad for us "oldies".... I had trouble using the weight with my right hand (for some reason my elbow seems to be really sore the last couple of months)....... but doing it without was still good...... my resolution for the boot camp will be to do it AT LEAST 3 times per week!

The Leslie Sansone tapes are terrific! I like them because they are simple to follow and don't require a huge time committment. I use a Leslie 30 minute tape every morning that is walking and free weights....I have about 6 of her tapes but this is my favorite.

Got my tapes in mail yesterday. Watched the 1 mile tape with the belt and stretch bands. Going to give it a try tomorrow. Looks like she keeps you motivated. Thats what I need.

Ruth, did you buy the one for Abs? They had stretch bands on that infomercial...let us know if they are good! I heard good things about the regular walking tapes, so I bet these are good also.

Now there's a good reminder. I got the LS walking tapes last Spring and used them once. The dogs thought I was playing with them and kept leaping and bounding while I walked in one place. DH sat and gawked at the show. I guess they will be banned from the TV room from now in when I use the tapes AND I AM DOING THEM TODAY!

I also have the 1 mile, 2 mile, & 3 mile Walk Away the Pounds. I am doing the 2 mile one with the weighted balls. I love these tapes. I have a whole library of her walking tapes.

Default Leslie Sansone

Hi: I started walking to the first tape which is "walking away the pounds for abs mile 1. It was great. Its the first time in a long time that I started something and finished it in the way of exercise. I have Mile2,3. It has the stretch cords which were not hard to do . I'm looking forward to tomorrow. I plan on doing mile 1 for a week and then advancing to 2-3. I was giggling to myself all day because I actually had fun. She is a very motivating person. Try it. Ruth

Ruth, give them a try. I had lots of fun and was so proud that I kept up with the class and look forward to tomorrow. Yes one of my poodles thought I was dancing and should be part of of the routine too. LOL.

Ruth, did you buy the Ab tapes local, or did you order online?

I have the one called "Walk & Firm for older adults" and it is great!! I highly recommend it for older individuals or those who are needing to get active but are not ready for more challenging workouts.

We all need to keep active, no matter what our age -

She also has a website where you can order her tapes and she's starting a new diet and exercise program on her website. www.lesliesansone.com She also makes appearances on QVC selling her exercise tapes.

Ooh, thanks for the site! I went and was suprised at the price. I thought the infomerical was for 2 payments of 39.95, but the site just says 39.95. I wonder if it is missing anything.

Ruth, was your infomerical buy for 2 payments? Was that for more than 3 tapes and the ab bands?
