I was asked by me DD2 if we could host an exchnage student from germany starting the week after next for a total of 4 weeks. and i told her that there was no way with my schedule that it was possible. i would love to do some thing like that and have thought about it for quite a while but i do not see how i can do it. well then she said they were desperate and realy needed to find familys for these 2 girls left. she then told her teacher that i was thinking about it and gave her my number at work. so what happened today?? i get a call at qwork and well guess what she will be coming to my house for 3 weeks (one week at another girls house then 3 here.) am i nusts or what??? I guess i should let her stay the 4 weeks here as i t would be hard for her to have to change around!!! I guess i am nuts!!!
then to top it all off sshe called work today asking what tiem i got off of work. i said late today. why well it tunred out she loaned her friend her cheerleading sneakers and her friend went home with them and she had a game today. I was so mad at her and yelled at her and then told her that she is going to either get a taxi or make her friend's mother driver her there, well her friends mom is not home so i told her to make her frind walk to the school!!! and that is was a part of her uniform and she is not supposed to wear it any place but for cheereleading and certainlyu not to let others wear them!! I ripped her a new butt when i was done with her. I still am steaming mad about that!!!

I just am a sucker i can not say no to a teacher especially when she beggs!!! can you see sucker on my head???
i know that Katie was just being the nice kid and thinking of the other person when she did that but it is not her responsibility to dress her friends with things that are not alowed!!!
Oh Sue, you have my sympathies. Actually, I thnk you will have fun with the exchange student, different cultures and different perspectives--sure would be very neat to have someone around who can providethat for your family!
