Default Low Carb Stores

What is your favorite low carb store? What has the best selection, and what is the most affordable?

I don't have a favorite store, but I'd like to find one in the Baltimore area. Particularly a bakery. I love bagels, and since I'm trying to cut the carbs down a bit (stay under 200 at least, daily) I figure that would be a good start. I'm not a big fan of bread, I prefer tortillas and bagels. I saw them at on-line stores, but the pricing plus shipping is just WAY out of my budget!
I'd like to find/try some of the other drinks that are shown on the sites... I can't drink nutrasweet, and the low-carb sites list diet drinks with Splenda.

You know, I'm realizing: It just stinks to be allergic to chocolate, and nutrasweet while you're trying to diet. All the diet bars have chocolate or nutrasweet! :sigh:

I can find some low carb products as various grocery stores and health food stores but I don't know of any stores in my area that sell specificially low carb items. I'm only about 100 miles away from Toronto, I bet there's a few there, though...

It's an unfortunate reality that there are very few and far between low carb stores out there. I find that between shopping at the health food store and going down the outside lanes at the grocery store is how I survive. Someone should really start a chain of stores or at least put out a decent line of low carb food that is reasonably priced!!

If you're not buying them at a store, how are you finding the items? Do you read the back of every package or are there certain brands that you know of?
I know that most meat products are low-carb already, and most pasta/grain/breads are not. I do shop at Trader Joes and sometimes at Fresh Fields... but I can't afford to shop at Fresh Fields anything resembling often. Its just too expensive.
