Thumbs down Exercise Thread--Week of July 15th

Hi Guys! Starting this up with fingers crossed this week. My knee started acting up on Saturday for no apparent reason. It is feeling somewhat better today, so we shall see. With that said--
My goal this week is to exercise at least 4 times a week with 2 of those workouts being at least 3 miles. Fingers crossed here!!!!

Hi AdoAnnie,

That sounds like a really good goal. Wish I could stay motivated to exercise. But my exercise plan this week is to dance around my house for at least 30-45 minutes. And to try and keep up the low carb while my husband is gone. He left today for his deployment.

Do you walk on a treadmill? I used to walk two miles a day. But that was when I lived in California. It is way too hot and humid here(Texas) to walk. So I have had to try something else....

Okay..enough of my chatter.

Good Luck, I know you can do it.

Sinnrah, I do the Walk Away The Pounds videos with Leslie Sansome. I really like the weights that they incorporate into the workout. It is really a good way to "power walk" in airconditioning! Turn that music up and start dancing. You can do it.

JUST DO IT!!! that is my motto you will feel so much better !!!

I had the same problem today and wow do i feel so much better!! i woke and had to take DH to work to get his truck then came home and visited for a while, then get off my a$$ went to the gym and found a older lady with MS sitting on the steps well i know she has been having terrible problems lately so i offered to give her a ride home as she was waititng fr a taxi so that was antoher delay. then I stoped home again to make a phone call, then with an act of GOD i got back in the car and wnet to the gym again. I did a good upper body workout and feel so much better but with the news today i will either be off plan or over exercise today with a huge bike ride to get out my frusterations.

Way to go Jiff!

I played 18 holes of golf today. The fact that my team was 20 over par should tell you how many times I had to swing and chase lost balls!!!

About 5 hours out in the sweltering heat!

I must be a glutten... I play again on Wed.

I did an hour on Monday, but overslept this morning. So I will be going at lunch or after work with the boys in tow. They like using the raquetball courts to play tennis in .

Hi Guys--I did the 2 Mile Walk Away Tape and then I did the Ab Workout Tape that came with "The Firm" program. Can I just say, "ooooochie mama"-I have to say that if I can keep doing this ab work it should work. Wow!

Jif, way to go on the walk and the weightloss--that is so terrific!!

Sinnrah, shopping---my kind of workout!!!

L, when I go to the golf tournament and just walk the course it is a TOTAL workout--especially in the heat!

Jen, hey, my money is on you getting there this p.m.

Have a good one ladies!

Hi Ladies,

Well, I did my little dancing around the house today. And I got on a major cleaning kick. And cleaned my whole apartment. From windows to floors.

Then I had to shopping again. I had to return some pants I bought.

Okay talk to everyone soon.

Keep up the good workouts everyone
