It seemed like having this thread to look to helped keep me going with the exercise. I thought I would post another week of it and see if it helped anyone else.
My goal for this week is to workout at least 4 times this week and to make one of those workouts one of my new "The Firm" weight training workouts.
Up and accounted for!!! had a hard time getting there, and getting started no air!! I must go earlier as it was way to hott to get going. but i did a good leg work out and added 200 crunches in it. did only 10 min warmup and cool down.
I still want to walk 30 brisk minutes (I can't stand to stroll!) every other day this week. If I can make it to the end of the week without any foot injuries, I will claim myself tendonitis free and up my quota next week.
Monday, I was too tired, today I over slept, wonder what my excuse will be for tomorrow?
Seriously though, I did ride my exercise bike for 30 minutes. I may go down to my son's after I get home from work and do water aerobics in his pool. But I definately will get up and get to the club tomorrow. I only have 30 days until my surgery and I want to be in the best condition possible so that the surgery will go well.
Leens, I have a question about your eliptical trainer. Is it loud and (ok there were two!) does it take up much space? I am looking for something not so loud and not so big to try and sneak into the living room. (yeah right) I need variety! A view and some MTV would be a nice change.
Ruth, 2 hours gardening and 2k is great! Wow, I dunno why I am asking about eliptical trainers when I SHOULD be outside walking and exercising in this great weather.
Isn't it great that we get a new day every morning?
I gardened in the heat for two hours yesterday and will be doing the same shortly. This has to count, right? I am planning on joining the 7 p.m. village walkers (new group) for a 3K walk IF we don't get a storm as predicted. Hershey needs it and so do I.
It was raining when I left work yesterday, so I didn't stop by my son's pool. I did make it to the club this morning, even though I was late, but I did get in one day.
I did it! I actually put myself first for a change! I went ahead and did the 3 Mile Walk Away tape BEFORE I started doing any of the other stuff I need to do. So, now I'm behind schedule, but you know what--I just really knew that I would talk myself out of exercising or run out of time if I didn't. Feels pretty good! Uh, other than the sore butt muscles!
I haven't been doing anything the past few days, just cleaning when I get home at night. Guess its better than nuthin. My eating has been bad the past 2 days too.....back to the drawing board
