Default The Weekend daily June 1 & 2

Well, i can see that no one has started a daily today so I'm here to do it!

Spening my time catching up on sleep and getting chores done around the house. had a wicked lightning storm on Thursday night and it knocked out my internet till just now!

I haven't stepped on the scales since TOM is here and I know I am retaining a LOT of water right now. SIL gave me a chart to track my basal temps so I can get preggers--worked for her, so why not me? LOL Got myself a good digital thermometer so I can be good and accurate. Cross your fingers and toes and whatever else for me!

Hope you are all having a great weekend and I hope the chick meet is a lot of fun everyone who is going to be there!

Pooky Saw some old friends last night and they said one of their son's wife is pregnant.with triplets!!! all girls. I though about you when she told me.

I'm still doing great. I finished my book about Living Low Carb, and am fixing to start on Protein Power. I figure the more I know the less likely I am to mess up.

I ordered some stuff from Syenergy Diet and it came in today. I got some lc bagels, zucchini muffins and tortillias. I tried the muffin already and it was pretty good. It was good size and has only 6.2 carbs.

Well my "BOSS" is yelling for me to get busy, so I'll check in later

Not much else going on. Church tommorrow and then into work for a few hours to get organized.

Well I am exhausted and am gonna park myself on the couch!!

Have a great rest of the weekend everyone!!!

Good Morning and happy Sunday!
A little rain this morning but the sleepover went well. The kids are playing and i am about to go make breakfast for them. They have been up since 5 but were asleep by 10:30. The weather is going to prevent them from being outside, so i think the Spirit movie might be on tap.

Jiff, I am out numbered, but they are all good kids, not a mean one in the bunch!

To all you chicks meeting for breakfast...have a GREAT time! The rest of us will have burning ears as you chick chat about us LOL.

post after, I want all the details!

be well,
-L

Good morning!

Sounds like everyone has a great weekend planned. Harry Potter? I LOVE that movie! Have you read the books? A MUST READ for this summer if you haven't. Honestly. Those things aren't just for kids.

Went to BIL's yesterday. Twin nieces turned one. So cute! I thought I was doing well OP. I had meatballs (which I was assured did NOT contain bread), hamburger patty w/cheese (no bread, some vegies and c/f diet Pepsi. Then my SIL showed up. Love the woman to death -- but Lord can she cook! She brought her fresh-made fried rice and then proceeded to deep-fry up a batch of home-made spring rolls! (She's from Thailand.) I couldn't resist. Figured -- how bad can spring rolls be anyway? Ate two and got home and found out that that was about 30 Carbs! Oh, well. At least I avoided the birthday cake.

I did go to the gym yesterday morning before the party. This week was rough. I couldn't quite keep up with the instructor during the aqua aerobics. Had to leave the class about 10 minutes before it finished. I talked to her afterwards (we call her "Sarge" cause she barks out instructions like a drill sargeant! ) She asked if I had done anything strenuous yesterday (Friday). Well, other than housework and shopping, I went to the gym and worked on the treadmill and then in the water. "There you go" she told me. She figures my muscles were just too tired still as they are not used to working out. Guess she could be right but I still feel like a whimp for not being able to complete the session.

Nothing planned for today but cleaning the house and calling customers to let them know I have their latest orders in.

How about the rest of you? What's on schedule for you all?

Good Sunday Morning!

Just a quick post this morning--have to get out in my unruly garden and do some work and then it's inot town for a quick shop.

Jiff, glad to see you're buying "off the rack" Great feeling, isn't it?

Enjoy your chick meet this morning--gee I'm so jealous!

Joanne, don't worry about the spring rolls--I'm sure the "Sarge" will have them all burnt off for you!

L--I don't envy you with all those kids, but hey, it's over today, right?
