Thanks so much Janice and Kel! I knew that I would find the support here. I know my DH is feeling it too, but he is an "internalize" and I am "internalize" and "verbalize"---does that make sense????? Wish I knew better how to verbalize to my DS to help him through this stuff this year! Anyway thanks for your replies and kind thoughts! They mean a lot.

There is such a loss when a young person gets killed or injured. We can only wonder what difference they might have made in the world. It seems that in Spring, the young people are really feeling their oats and act recklessly. I vividly remember a guy named Mitch who was in my high school class who died of a stupid car accident. Of course he was a rebel with the duck-tail hair cut, the slicked back hair and the black leather jacket. (Think James Dean). We'll never know what could have been as Mitch will forever be seventeen.
God bless!

Talking Never knew :)

Well, I must say my day has been busy and horrible & wonderful all at the same time .. does that make any sence??

My DH's mom who has cancer is in the final stages .. they have moved her to a private room and feel it will not be very long before she passes. This is tragic yet welcoming news. It is so hard to watch someone you love pass with such a horrible illness. I called my DH at work and he headed home right away .. I had already packed his clothes so he could get to Sudbury ASAP. I had to put my foster kids on relief so that took some time but its now all done. I will leave in the morning to join him.

I was also on a mission this week to hook my SIL's BF up with a new dog. He has always had a St. Bernard and I found one for adoption down here .. he is only 9 months but man is he big!! So we worked quietly on the adoption without my SIL knowing what was going on before we told her .. Im not sure if she wants to cry or laugh .. my guess is she wants to kill me but hey .. she will get over it I picked up "Duke" today .. oh man is he cute .. slobery .. and HUGE!!! 130 lbs of walking muscle .. goober and fur!!! Kind remindes me of an exboyfriend So I will deliver the goods to them tomorrow. He is so happy to be getting this dog .. he was very depressed when he had to put his other one to sleep. My SIL said he is as nervous as an expectant father in the labour room

Well I will try to keep up on everything from my mommys puter .. but I might be gone for a bit .. Take care and I will see you all soon.

Laura
