WOW what an ignorant *** !!

Stacey, I think I would have went belistic on her, who made her so "perfect"........WOW.......WOW........WOW.

Tip you said a mouth ful !!

I think I would have slapped that girl so hard her mother would feel it, how rude, how insensitive, how down right stupid.

Wow that made me angry haaaaaa !!!!
    Okay, I'm calm now.

    Love, Leens
Fat and I do shower every day haaaaaaaaa !!!!!!!
  • Hmmmm
Maybe I should go see her after a particularly strenuous workout, covered in slimy sweat and smelling like skunk. Then skip out on the bill!
  • Ladies, after reading all your posts (and there's quite a few), I didn't know whether to laugh or cry! While the ignorant remarks of some individuals made me angry enough to cry (both for the sake of their stupidity and the feelings of the recipient), some of the combacks made me giggle. You ladies are an awesome force to contend with.

Shall I share my "fat comment" story? Last summer I was out in the front yard working on the flower garden while my youngest (then not quite six) was across the street playing with his friend and another neighbor's child (a boy too old to be playing with 6 & 7 year olds). At one point this older child started playing too rough (wrestling the littler kids on the pavement). I yelled over for him to stop which he did after shooting me a dirty look. All of a sudden Shane (my son) started yelling at this kids. He was so mad he was red in the face! I quickly walked over to see what the problem was. Just as I got there I heard him say "My Momma's not fat! She's chubby! And you're a poop-head!" OK, the "poop-head" part I had to speak to him about but coming to my defense was precious! Oh, by the way. He refers to me as "chubby" because earlier that summer he had described another neighbor's child as "fat" when he couldn't remember his name and he wanted to go play "across the street with that fat boy". I explained that calling anyone fat would hurt their feelings and that he wasn't really fat just a little chubby (actually, the child was obese but that's another issue).

Sorry for the long-winded story but it makes me smile to remember it so I thought I'd share it with you all! Hope it made some of you smile, too.

  • jo.. what a precious story!!!
and here's a valuable lesson for all of us...

we are lovable. and worthwhile. no matter what. and jo's son did a great job of showing it.

now, all we have to do is realize it.

    nothing's easy, is it.
  • Jo,

Your son is a hero, what a brave little soul. Thats exactly what I want to teach my daughter, she's only 7 months but I want to teach her respect for others no matter what they look like and that it is okay to be different. I have to keep reminding my husband this of course and I have to remind myself the same thing.

God made all of us and he doesn't make mistakes, He made us all PERFECT........well except for that woman who was mentioned in Stacey's beginning post

Have a wonderful day all !!
    Love Leens
  • I'm echoing what Leenie said!

GOD MADE US AND HE DON'T MAKE NO JUNK!
  • I think for now on I just need to have a bunch of you follow me around and whisper in my ear when my SIL is around!!
    Aren't you all the greatest!!
My response was I must say, not the maturest of replys, or the most elequent, but it was said, and to tell you the truth, I don't feel in the slightest bit bad! Let me also add, I was not 100% sober, it was my birthday after all!
Thank you for your wonderful support and the next time I hear a comment I will let them know I have a whole group of chubby ladies that have my back!!!
    Good weekend to you all!!
  • Do tell!!
You can scramble the #$%@&** words!!
