Exclamation Article- Falsified Nutritional Info

Hi everyone.

Some of you may be interested in checking out the following link,

http://www.sun-sentinel.com/business...label902.story

It is an article about the falsification of nutritional info. I noticed that there were 2 low carb items on that list. I'm not a low carber myself, but thought maybe someone here would appreciate the info.

Good luck to everyone on their goals.

Michelle

Default Wow!

Thanks for posting this Michelle. Even with the carbs that your body supposedly doesn't recognize as carbs (or whatever the jargon is), the discrepancy is ridiculous! No wonder those products send me into a stall.

I guess I'll just have to keep my low carb eating safe by eating things like meats, cheese, low-carb veggies and not packaged stuff.

Thanks Michelle~~after LC ing for so long I think this must be one of the reasons I choose to also do the "plain janing" LC foods. Once I get to goal again I guess I might be able to afford (or risk) those "undisclosed" carbs a bit easier---but definately not while we struggle so hard to be OP.

Thanks so much for your info!

Spart,
A good read. I don't follow low carb and don't understand the used carbs vs. not used but, I think that companies want to sell probucts. But as the consumer it makes it very hard to make what we think are good choices.

Be well,
-L
