I had above average success with laser hair removal. I did about 9 sessions, 10 weeks apart (armpits/bikini). I also have fair skin, darker hair. They never guaranteed that I would be 100% hairless. I am happy with my results and will go for touch ups a few times a year. I use to get waxed and hated the ingrown hairs I would get, so this is the best part for me. Plus, no waiting for the hair to grow to get waxed again, which sucks in the summers.
For me, it was money well spent.
FYI...I sent friends to the same place I go to, and results seemed to vary. Some were very happy, others weren't.
