Default keep this dress or return it?

it might be nice to keep around if i need to wear something nice in the near future. i just don't know if it does anything for me? i bought it because it fit and i thought the fabric/gathering would hide a poochy belly. h&m size M. it was like 25 bucks.

It looks gorgeous on you!
For going out pair it with nude high heels and solid blue clutch,
it will give it more contrast and style!

(I just realized the wall behind you is blue, see! It will work out perfect!)

thanks everyone..i will keep it. i was just getting this horrible feeling like the gathering and the busy fabric was an obvious "im chunky" statement. the bold color clutch is a great suggestion!!

i wish i could find more cute dresses with sleeves like this. i kinda hate my upper arms.

Glad you liked it!

Do you shop online? Google a online clothing shop called ASOS,
they have amazing collection of dresses for normal to curvy sizes too

what about a wide sash-type belt in a bright contrasting colour? pair with chunky earrings. that would help deflect the "i'm chunky" statement.

I'm glad you decided to keep it, it looks great on you, I actually believe that gathering slims you down and it shows off your curves in a very flattering way. I like the pattern, you can go minimal with accessories, and it looks amazing. It's definitely a dress to wear with heels, nude, black ones, or maybe even red?

Count me in with the lovers! I'm all about some rouching!

I think it looks great--a black scarf or chunky necklace & some earrings would be wonderful w/it, too!

Great!

Sorry, no belt - that is the wrong kind of dress for a belt with all the ruching.
