Default Dress Shirt - Too Tight for Office?

I'm not sure if this shirt is too tight or I'm just not used to wearing "fitted" garments. Is this going to be inappropriate in an office setting?

There is no "gapping" between the buttons, but there are the slight stretch wrinkles right around the bosom button. I'm not trying to give the impression things are about to come busting out.

I have another button down I can wear that is a fair bit looser, but I think it's borderline unflattering since it's so loose.. Oh the pickle.

Here is some advice for you I got from a Ex Boss and it was the best advice I have ever gotten.

"would your grandfather approve?"

If you wore this to go and see your grandfather would he approve of such an outfit? If in doubt, or the answer is no, change.

Hmm probably true, I'm also a little worried the top button is too low, even with the cami it seems a little odd.

I'll probably go with the navy!

It seems fine to me...

BTW, for the future you might want to check out dress shirts that you can buy according to your bust/bra size such as:

http://campbellandkate.com/

http://www.mycurvyclothes.com/Blouses.php

http://biubiu.pl/tops.html (find the English flag at top)

http://www.carissarose.com/

Then you can avoid the whole gapping vs. too big in the waist issue.

I only wish we had such options in the UK. As far as I know, there's only the Bravissimo clothing range. It's small, overpriced, and they always make their shirts in polycotton rather than pure cotton. I did buy a top from them once, but the sizing was way off and it was a different colour to the photo.

I don't think it is too low, but it does look a little snug. If you are questioning it you are probably uncomfortable with it. Keep it, another 10-15 pounds it should be just right.

I think it is a bit too snug. I wouldn't wear it.

If your office is business-casual, it's fine. If it's more than that, it's not.

For example, I would wear that to my office (which is business-casual), but not for an important meeting or a job interview.

It looks good though!

Do you have a minimizer bra (or maybe a sports bra that works a bit like one)? I think that might fix the problem neatly for you, since it's just a tiny bit too snug around the chest.

I actually like how the camisole looks with it though.

To me, the cut is just fine. Maybe a bit snug. The question would be, would you be comfortable in it? Or would you worry all day that you are not 'comfy'?

Check out Biubiu, I've heard amazing things about their clothes (in terms of both quality and fit). They have three different bust fits per size They're in Poland but you won't have to pay custom fees and the clothes are really reasonably prices. I'm going to Europe next year and definitely plan on ordering some of them!!!!!!

ETA: Aj Rumina ships abroad too (I asked), I recently bought a button down shirt from them and love it. The sleeves are slightly tight, though, but I have big arms...

I think its fine, but my breasts have always been at least a DD no matter if I was 130 pounds or 200 pounds (well now they are bigger), whatever makes you comfortable!

I'd consider it a little bit too tight to wear - try again in another 5 lbs.
