Default Odd things you do after weight loss...

Lately I'll just have my arm stretched out along the couch, and I'll look down and be like "wtf, it looks so thin." And I'll just stare at it.

Or I'll put my hand on my bent knee. And then start rubbing it. And thinking "it feels so weird and bony".

Or I'll go to scratch my neck and end up running my hand along my jawline and thinking "I really can't feel a doublechin, or almost any fat."

Obviously, I still have a ways to go in weight loss.. but there are certain places where I think I've lost more weight than others and it's both inspiring and a little bit freaky. Like if you lived in a house and the rooms slowly started changing over time. "Did that cabinet used to be there?" (Ok that would probably be far more upsetting.. but you get the idea.)

I was just curious, am I the only weirdo who does this or something similar?

I always run my fingers along my jawline and touch my double chin fat to see if it feels bigger or smaller. I also always touch my collar bones, i love seeing them.

I confess. The first thing I noticed was while driving a few months ago - my wrists looked SO thin all of a sudden. Now I'm constantly feeling for new bones & checking myself out

I do the same thing. I touch my collar bone way to often. Also I noticed the other day when I was laying down that I had hip bones... so I had to poke them lol.

I heard about a woman who woke her husband out of sound sleep crying hysterically. She reached down in the middle of the night and felt 2 hard bumps on either side of her pelvis. She was sure she had matching tumors, but he reassured her they were her newly appearing hip bones!

Same here, I am surprised by every bone I encounter. Hip bones are no fun though. I bump them a lot! Or I bump my arms on them. Haha

One of the first things I really noticed were my hip bones and I remember talking about this to someone who was just like : "hum...okay", probably not realizing what it meant to me, haha.

Unfortunately I am offering this from memory, but perhaps I will re-experience it again at some point: being able to cross my legs above the knees

Love the cross legs above the knee!!! Even at my skinniest, 140 high school weight, size 6, my thighs were so muscular that it wasn't comfy to cross them above the knee, so I am holding out no hope whatsoever on that, lol! I am constantly feeling my ribs and hips, standing with my arms crossed or hands on hips, ha ha!

yesss the double chin thing. I also feel my cheeks, to see if they sucked in a little bit. I pinch my arm fat, or like wobble it. lollllll I don't have bones yet, but I do have less fat every day.

Bonbon and Running, my arms have always been so enormous (no matter my wt.), that I figured crossing my legs was a little gift from the universe. I NEEDED to make it up to me!!!! Momentarily my ankles are the only ones capable of performing that feat...

I lay in bed in the mornings for a few extra minutes and feel my hip bones and my tummy-- it's so exciting when the tummy starts to sink IN instead of pooching out!

This is silly, too-- I've always had pretty nice legs, but losing weight makes them look awesome, lol, so I always stick them up in the air and admire them for a quick minute before getting out of bed.

I'm always feeling my collar bone.... When I'm laying on my back, I will feel the knobs of my hip bones, too.

The other day, I was waking up and I had my knees were up. I looked down at my thighs and they didn't even look like my own thighs. I just stared at them.

Also, whenever I get back from gym and my leg muscles are all tight, I will lay down and extend my leg and look at all the muscles and the new definition in them.

I love it sooo much!! When I take off my shirt in front of a mirror, I always raise my arms above my head because I'm waiting for the day when I see ribs!
