Default Suggestions/Recommendations for cocktail dresses

Hey guys!

I am in dire need of a nice, classy and appropriate cocktail dress for my rehearsal dinner in December. My problem is that I have a couple of rolls on my belly (working those off though ) and have a 34FF bust. I know what I need I just can't seem to find "the one." I've never really had a nice cocktail dress and I would like to find one that made me look good without looking like a hussy or feeling self-conscious.

Any suggestions?

I recommend Nordstrom. The customer service is impeccable, and the associates will give you useful feedback about the type of dress that might work best on you. If possible, go on a weekday morning or early afternoon so that you might be the sole focus of the salesperson.
How exciting - congratulations on your upcoming nuptials!

Thanks! Unfortunately, Alabama isn't high class enough to have a Nordstrom (shocking I know ) But thank you for the suggestion. I might order something online from there but that might be too risky.

Do you have a seamstress in your area ? A talented seamstress could make a beautiful. one of a kind dress for you.

LightintheBox will custom fit dresses to your measurements

eShakti- also will do custom fit dresses.

I recently ordered from AJ Rumina (offers close according to your bust size) and will put up a review on my blog at the end of the month

Check out biubiu too. It's from Poland but it's gotten great reviews and they have some pretty dresses there too (again you can shop by your bust size).

I've heard Trashy Diva dresses are really stretchy in the bust as well as PinnupGirl dresses (and they list the exact measurements on each dress).

While you're shopping, don't forget to check out some really good shapewear. It will CHANGE YOUR LIFE and I am not exaggerating.
