I gotta laugh. Of the freshly lost 4 pounds total....I know nothing to sneeze at, but I am, this time around, in a novice position....I feel that my feet got thinner. My shoes are looser. No lie. Perhaps the next 4 pounds I can lose from my big fat head!

I've definitely lost weight in my feet, maybe only a half size or so, but they are also less bloated too though, as I lost a lot of water weight. They will always be wider, but I can definitely see that they are more boney, and I love it!

My shoes did get looser feeling, but I didn't go down a size. They are still the same length. I was a 7 1/2 before my pregnancies, and an 8 after. I considered buying some 7 1/2 open-toed shoes the other day because they kind of fit, and they were on clearance.

I guess it just depends on the person.

Last time, I went from 288 to 160, and my feet were significantly less wide. I could fit in average shoes, around size 8, without them bulging out the sides or pinching my toes. They also looked smaller too

It's official! I just got my foot measured for my new athletic shoes! Drum roll please . . . I lost almost 150 pounds and still wear a size 11 shoe!

I haven't lost any length yet, but I did have to tighten up the straps on several of my Birkenstocks. My feet still LOOK as wide as ever, though.

Not going to lie, I'm really hoping to lose a shoe size! Going from an 11 to a 10 would open up a world of shoe possabilities! And I could borrow from my mom (who has tons of shoes).

Well, I was a size 10 when I was at 345 pounds, and now my flats and shoes that stretch out easily are all too wide on me, but my tennis shoes that were a little tight before are now fitting me perfectly. And I'm buying shoes in a 9 from Rue 21, but I haven't gotten any nice shoes in a while so I'm not sure. I definitely know the width has gone down majorly, and I feel like I dropped about half a shoe size or more.

at 245 I was wearing 7 to 7.5 depending on the type of shoe. Now my largest shoes (running shoes) are a 6.5 and my smallest (tennis shoes that I have just for running around in) are a 4 (from the boys section).

I've lost half a shoe size. It's kind of weird. I was a size 10 at this weight in high school and when I reached this weight again in early college, but this time I mostly wear a 9.5 (running shoes are still 10s)

ETA- My feet measure at 8.5, but aside from a pair of strappy sandals from Avenue (which are almost too big at a size 8), I've yet to find anything below a 9 that fits my feet.

My feet also got smaller. I needed a 10 wide at 250+ pounds, but now a 9.5 regular usually fits. My good sneakers still fit, but I had to lace them up a bit tighter. AND - - my favorite sandals are TOO BIG! Ticks me off no end! LOL

They're just really cute leather flip flops with pastel leather flowers down the outside strap. I've had them for years, but took real care in wearing them (to not get them wet, dirty, etc.) so they still look nice. They go perfectly with a skirt I love (and was able to alter to still fit) and I have to grab so hard with my toes to keep them on it just isn't worth it. Oh, well. Seems like a small complaint!

I'm not quite sure I get this...

Shoe size is mostly dependent on the bone structure within your foot. Obviously bones can't lose weight, lol. So how is it that some people drop a size or a size and a half after losing weight? It's a miracle I tell you! I would LOVE to start shopping in women's sizes again. I mostly find men's 12 and I don't like dressing like a guy. -_- I hardly ever find women's 13.

Congrats on you ladies who have lost feet length! Wish I were "in your shoes", lol.

I am in the exact same boat, and I REALLY hope I go down to a 10. From 10 to 11, the shoe choices dwindle drastically. I'm a total shoe wh0re, so it would be really amazing. Here's hoping.

At 400+, I was wearing a 12WW, now I wear a 11 regular at 219 lbs - I "only" have about 44 lbs until goal so I'm wondering if it'll go down anymore or if I'm stuck with an 11 forever. It seems like all the cute shoes stop at size 10 so if I could just squeeze into that, I'd be happy.

i don't really change shoe sizes with weight but width changes. when i was around 190 i wore a size 8 narrow. now i wear a 8 wide. sometimes i have to get the 8 1/2 because there is no 8 w.
