It's getting dangerous to go shopping!

  • First, I'm beginning, finally, to fit in normal sized clothes. Fortunately for the pocketbook, I'm still on the large size of normal sized and also forunately for the pocketbook, I know I'm only partway there.

But, to be able to wear the cute athletic clothes. To be able to see that I am getting my shape back, etc is so fun! I could go crazy! Where for years everything I tried on (or most things) jut depressed me. Now I'm thrilled to try on a shirt, or pants, or skirt and see that WOW! It looks good! I could buy up whole racks of clothes if there wasn't such thing as a budget.

I don't know how I'm going to rein myself in when I get to my goal weight. I'm going to be a mad woman! Already I'm thinking, "how will I deal with this?" I know me... I'll be nutso!

Today I went to REI and I wanted EVERYTHING of the cute athletic/outdoorsy clothes. I allowed myself two skorts, 3 athletic tops and a summer weight sweatshirt (as I have no athletic stuff and I have NOTHING for summer). I got them all on sale, but I put back like 4 other items I realllly wanted.

Am I the only one that terrible? And I'm still HEAVY!
  • Definitley, not the only one!

I am the SAME way!! I bought Skinny jeans and I want to trade all my trouser cuts for skinny jeans!

And the athletic clothes- same thing here, I want cute "yoga" pants that are fitting!! And most of my sports bras are too big! I just have to keep telling myself- wait- otherwise I might get comfortable!!

Glad you are seeing results and are happy with them! You go girl!
  • No, not the only one!! Go for it, and don't be afraid to go to thrift shops while you're still looking in order to cut costs a bit, especially since you're not at goal yet!
  • I've hit up our local thrift store and picked up a few things, but pickings are slim. But I keep looking! Got my yoga pants there.
