Default Sports Bras

I'm in need of a really really really really good sports bra. One that wont have the girls bouncing all over the place. Any recommendations??

Thanks.

It depends on your bra size for the correct style that will support you best

If you are built like a bird and have A's, you can wear almost any old sports bra. If you're a B/C you can wear the "strappy" sports bras (depending on brand and thickness of "strappy"s) or the racer-backs, and D's+ should only really wear the racer-backs to get the correct support.

(we're streamlining our bras for the dance company-- I've learned quite a bit about bras and "the girls"!!!! )

If you go to the sports stores in the malls, they can be very helpful. But I'm pretty "floppy" and have had luck even at WalMart. I just get a size smaller then I would a normal bra (at least for the cup size) and make sure the elastic band that rests under your breasts is heavy and thick. Also, make sure it crosses in the back. Don't be afarid to try them on before you buy them and jump around in that dressing room!

I would suggest a running store or a sports store. I got fitted at a running store and they sent me into the dressing room with a variety of bras. I came out, gave comments, was given a few more and sent back in. I came out with an awesome bra and a better idea how to buy them.

If you are doing a high impact sports (like running), you need a really good bra. Cheap ones will cause irritation and also won't support you as well. Its actually possible to tear the fibers in your breast (making you sag more) if you don't get the right support.

I purchased an Enell sports bra and a Champion sports bra. I'm pretty well endowed (or I WAS) -- and they held the girls in place very well while I ran on the treadmill.

ETA: I purchased them from macys.com.

The store where I got my shoes was great, but somehow I don't see myself asking that guy to help me with a running bra .

Me too, except there were only two salespeople and both were men.

I really like Champion exercise bras. I have several of the Powerback Wireless sports bras (I'm a 38D). Champion is actually having a sale right now, all the bras are $19.99 (Just grabbed 2 more).

i've always gotten my good sports bras from a running store. There's always a female saleperson specific to help. I go a lot to a place called Fleet Feet (not sure if its just a GA chain or what). And the women was very helpful. spend the money for good quality sports bras, you and your girls will appreciate it.

I have 34DD and I honestly think the best sports bra Ive ever worn was from Wal-Mart, no lie. They have these 3 pack ones from Fruit of the Loom and they are so comfy and keep everything where they are supposed to be.
