Do you know models use Preparation H under their eyes? I use it when my eyes are all puffy from allergy's. It really does help. I have never found anything to really get rid of the dark circles. Plenty of sleep and a good solid diet do help.

I have the same thing with my eyes too, I will get some prep H, but not sure mine is swelling, sort of like the model above but with more lines towards the cheeks. (not visible in my pictures really)

snapless, yes now that i look at your picture, your eyes are similar to mine, almost like a parallel line with the line at your cheek, smile line i guess you could call it, that's why I OVER do my smile sometimes to cover that, but people always tell me I look tired, how rude is that?!?!

Just as rude as the people who tell you "you should wear that more often, it helps hide your double chin".

Yes, I've heard that one before.

Edit: vixjean, I just noticed you -also- have the same lines framing your mouth I do. I tend to do the opposite of you and not smile in pictures because they really stand out....I get griped at all the time by family and friends who tell me pictures don't convey my real personality...maybe I'll start smiling more for pics.

Yes! Smile smile, LOL! I have just recently discovered my dimples too, so I am playing those up a bit in my pics too, to draw attention from under my eyes.

Hey, even Angelina Jolie (arguably considered one of the most attractive women in our time) has those lines framing her mouth!

You know...I've never much noticed other people's, just my own. You know, the we're our own worst critic thing. Now I'm going to have to go look.

I remember hearing that the US formulation of Preparation H was changed and that the original formula is still available in Canada.

Well, the BX was out so I had to buy 'their' brand.

Active ingredients:
Mineral oil 14%
Petrolatum 71.9%
Phenylephrein HCI 0.25%
Shark live oil 3%

Also contains anhydrous, benzoic acid, corn oil, glycerin, lanolin alcohols, paraffin, propylparaben, purified water, thyme oil, tocopherol, white wax

No witch hazel. Odd.

Going to try it tomorrow and see how it goes. If it can reduce the bags I'll be thrilled.

snapless - cool let us know how it goes, I'll be buying mine this weekend.
Here is another thing we have in common, we don't sleep, LOL! Just kidding, but I do drink an insane amount of coffee, which Soulbliss was saying could have something to do with that. I am sipping my coffee and wondering when and how this crap is going to catch up with me.

Neutrogena Radiance Boost Eye Cream works wonders for me. It's specifically for puffiness.

I have this problem with puffiness and dark circles too. The only thing that takes away puffiness for me is cutting out sodium and sleeping with my head elevated high enough. Nothing has really worked for dark circles though. I've only started having them in the past year or so ...very annoying problem.
