Question Good Price 4 Highlights?

Hi everyone! I'm going to a new salon this weekend (Artistik Edge in Dallas, TX) and I they are offering a free haircut ($35) with any color service over $49. I will be getting a partial highlight ($61) and was wondering if this is a good price. I have never had highlights before, so I have no margin for comparison. Thanks ahead of time for your answers!

It will vary by locations of course, but I think $61.00 is quite reasonable. I've paid $150+ for partial highlights in the past. Have fun - I love playing with new hairstyles!

OMG yes! 61 bucks is CHEAP. depending on the place you go and stuff...how they turn out may depend. but 61 bucks plus a free haircut!...that's a steal! ...is it a full foil? partial foil? 10 pack? or a cap highlight?

haha I love highlights. I've paid over 200 for them, and my hair is shoulder length!

Now I go to the beauty school. Cheap, and they do a really good job.

I pay about US $100 for my hair (cut, 4 different colors - 3 of them foiled, dry, straight iron and style), but that's in rural Japan. I have no idea what prices are like in the US now.

I'm really going to miss my hairdresser when I move back. :/

I'd say it was a great price.

I get my hair cut and highlighted, and it usually runs me about $150.00 and up.

I pay 88.00 at a nice salon in Virginia for cut and highlights (2 colors, usually foiled - he sometimes does it different ways), so yeah, I think it's good!

Thanks to everyone for the replies, you really helped me get some perspective. From what you are saying, I guess I am getting a really good deal! mxgirl737, I think it is a partial foil, but it didn't specify on the website when I was looking at their service menu. Anyway, thanks again!
