Default Are there ANY non-stretch jeans left?

I am getting so tired of stretch denim. I mean a little is ok, but c'mon!

Yesterday I pulled my jeans out of the drier and they were too tight, last night I took them off without unbuttoning them.

I am fairly hipless which doesnt help at all.

I find it crazy that all the makeover shows say that stretch is bad but that is all you can find in stores. So who is wrong. I know stretch is supposed to be more comfortable but unless you are skinny minny sometimes you just look like you have sausage legs. I'm at the point now where I don't have to unbutton anything. I just think everything is getting old.

None that I can find lol...Maybe check Goodwill or your local consignment or thrift store for some older jeans? That's where I find alot of my best clothing items.

I agree. I hate stretch jeans - even before losing weight I hated them! They don't look great to begin with, but by the end of the day they are useless. I search high and low but it's hard to find something without spandex even in the teen section!

I have the same exact problem. I put mine on nice and snug and by the evening time it looks like I'm wearing a soggy diaper! If I don't wear a belt, my butt will be showing when I bend over.

The only jeans I've found without stretch is my 501 button-up Levis' that I get in the Men's Department

I think I'm the opposite. Any non stretch jeans I have look bad on me at the end of the day. They start falling down and look saggy in the hip/tummy area.

The stretch jeans I have tend to keep their shape all day long and aren't falling off on me at the end of the day.

I get my non-stretch on @ Avenue. They're the only place I can find REAL denim, lol.

I'm the opposite. I love stretch!! But I dunno, I like the ones right at my hips..so I dunno. I have the most perfect paid of pants from Old Navy. They fit just right as soon as they come out of the dryer. I can't stand my pants to be lose fitting.

I used to buy my jeans at Lane Bryant but they are expensive. So I pretty much just gave up on jeans and have *sigh* resorted to the cheaper stretch ones........

Maria,

My current jeans are Levis and Eddie Bauer. When I could wear plus size, I would buy Lane Bryant jeans.

Another vote for Lane bryant jeans. I was in this week and they have this new jeans sizing thing where they cut the jeand according to 3 different hip to waist ratios....so that they have jeans to fit whether you are straight or curvy. They were $39, and I am so going back when I get paid!! Unfortunately (kinda) I finally found jeand that fit, but I am still working on getting to my healthy size---and I am in the smallest size they sell! Damn. Kinda. I know...whine whine I'm a 14--boo hoo poor me right....but I haven't found jeans that fit that well for more than a decade, so I very seriously considered giving up on losing so I can wear jeans.
Sad.

Default and duuur... the reason I was posting...

They sell non stretch jeans at Lane Bryant....the're not in the special cut jeans (I don't think) but in the fashion jeans on the sales floor...they call them rigid.
K. I'm done now.

I buy my jeans in WalMart for $9.82 a pair - no stretch and I don't have to shorten them. Right now I'm a size 14 but I'm losing, so I'm not going to invest more money in pants. Land's End, LL Bean, and Eddie Bauer all have very nice jeans, with or w/o stretch. So do Kohl's and Cabelas.

Many companies make jeans that don't fit me in any size, or with any amount of stretch. No matter how little I weigh, "skinny" jeans are never a possibility!

I actually prefer a bit of stretch for those TOM days

Argh, yeah. I ended up getting a bunch of stretch jeans and they fit great in the morning but I've actually started carrying a belt in my bag if I have a long day ahead of me, because later in the day they just start hanging off my butt and going further and further down, it's awful. But I really don't wanna buy more jeans until I lose weight so I'm going to keep wearing them for a while.
