I have a flat as a board tummy when standing with pelvic bones jutting out and everything, but when I sit down I get a little chub flub jelly roll right on top of my jeans. I chalk it up to loose skin still, it is so streched out that it doesn't hold in my fat well at all and any naughty bits of chub come right on out when I sit down. Oh well, I think that it happens to most everyone.......... !

Join the club!! Hey now you know why Kirstie Alley never sits down or turns to the side in those JC ads!

I'm one of those people who has fat clothes/thin clothes in my closet, ugh.....now I find I can "fit" into some of my size 12 stuff as far as zipping it and all but tight clothes really accentuate the negative, so I prefer the loose-ish 14s for that very reason!

alot of people ( even people who werent heavy at one point ) have that issue ... you can improve it by doing and sticking to a routine try some crunches and alternating side lunges evrey night and at the end of each week you can up your activity level a little do a few more of each ! in any case be proud of yourself you lost the weight girl ! now you can wear all those beautiful clothes you wanted to !

When I sit down, I get these mini rolls. It's hideous, which is why I either lean back or sit up straight, always...

Me too!!!! If you ever see me in pictures sitting down, my midsection is usually hidden by my purse or whatever else I can find to hide it.

I swear Ellen Degeneres talked about 'everybody' having this when some magazine printed 'shocking' pictures of some star looking 'normal'. It sounds like it's pretty common.

I sometimes watch Jon and kate + 8 and Kate (mom) had a very stretched stomach from having sextuplets. She hid it well with underwear/girdle under her pants that went to her chest and smoothed everything out. She ended up having surgery to fix area. She is a thin/average person. I have tried spanx but you have to find the exact size or it doesn't work. I didn't like them.

When I try on clothes I check out the dressing room mirror while standing and sitting. That helps me to be less surprised by the way those pants or skirts really work out.

I guess it all comes down to a level of acceptance at some point. For every woman without some problem area, there is five of us with them.

This may sound like just an excuse...but is there any chance you are short-waisted? I am, and I feel like if my waist were longer then that skin/fat would have somewhere to go, but since I have a short waist it just pops out over my pants! LOL!

Ok I of course have no business answering this question since I could be totally at my perfect weight that will still be very close to 300lbs. Though I was just wondering if you have lost 45pounds and have the capacity to get it done, just keep on trucking. Though in the end how much is enough, at what point do you become happy with you ?
