I was thinking of something similar the other day except pertaining to age. I am almost 60, still a scary number to write, and although I have changed in many ways on the inside, I really havent changed much at all (reminds me of the old saying 'the more things change, the more they stay the same'), I still have the same likes and dislikes, the same talents, the same sense of humor, the same things still bug me, the love of my friends and kitties, and so forth. So I guess we remain the same person throughout our lives, thin or fat, young or old, rich or poor. (If I had the choice to make, I would be the same person being thin, young, and rich, LOL)
