I'm cracking down (losing vacation weight) and looking for some new meal ideas. Is there already a thread somewhere I can look at?
If not, I was hoping you'd share some of the things you eat pretty regularly. I'm looking for easy peasy with few ingredients that I can make quickly. I also would like to try my hand at the BFL protein/carb/fat approach.
Meg, a question for you...I read you eat egg whites, an egg and 1/2 cup of oats for breakfast. Do you mix the oats in with the eggs and then cook them together?
Here's a recipe I enjoy:
1/2 cup Quaker Oats (not instant)
1/2 cup nonfat cottage cheese
4 egg whites
cinnamon and vanilla to taste
Cooking Instructions:
Mix in blender and cook like regular pancakes.
Serving Suggestions:
I eat mine with 1/2 TBSP of strawberry jam. VERY filling.
