Default Small intestine area shrinking slowly

Hey everyone

I've lost about 50 lbs. or so since last year and everything is going great. I'm trying to do this slowly so my body doesn't go into "weightloss shock" as I'd like to call it now.

Skin has adjusted well over this time, no stretchmarks to speak of. But it's sometimes like there's an echo inside my small bowels, like the "tube" itself has been stretched out so much that it's taking forever to shrink back after I stopped eating so much (which has pretty much happened naturally and effortlessly).

Anyone else having this issue or has had?

I don't believe that the small intestine stretches or shrinks as a result of food intake or restriction. It's possible that you are just more aware of the sounds now that you have lost weight.
