This week has included two (2.0) trips to Toys-R-Us to get, then exchange, a car seat for our one year old GDD. Life is about to get interesting here; we will keep her as a day care substitute for a few days and then possibly once per week. She's good exercise - never stops.

Good morning!

Fall is definitely finally here! Cool and crisp in the mornings and the days are not getting as hot.

We had a nice couple of visits from my BFF from SLC last week. It's fun to catch up. She and I and another friend from high school, along with our respective other halves, are planning on the Smooth Jazz cruise in February 2018. DH and I did this cruise with my brother and SIL a few years ago and were quite impressed with all the talent. Hoping this one is as nice. Until then, I must get back in shape.

Kind of fuming right now. We have a patch of flowers (a lovely butter yellow lantana) in the corner of our front yard. I've never seen another plant with this color--they're usually bright yellow or purple or a pinkish mixture (which I consider a weed). I have several bright yellow ones and several purple ones. The pink mixtures I get my gardener to pull out. Well, this one patch is riddled with grass and our gardener NEVER pulls the grass out. DH got fed up and went and bought grass killer. Except he didn't. He sprayed it yesterday and today I looked at the bottle of ROUNDUP. It's all going to die.
