Is Greek yogurt usually fat-free in North America? Crumbs.

You can get fat-free Greek yogurt in Europe now but generally it definitely isn't.

We have a variety of different fat contents available to us in all pre-packaged dairy (except butter of course - there is full fat and one type of "light" which is full fat with a bunch of air whipped into it to lower the cals), greek yogurt included. I have 1% and 5 % fat content greek yogurt in my fridge right now. It's not really 1% or 5% by volume. Not sure how they figure it out.

I tend to buy 1% everything dairy - milk, yogurt, cottage cheese. I can't abide no fat (skim milk is bluish in colour ) but the 1% seems to be quite satisfying.

Neuro..It has only been 2 years that I have eaten this way.I am not sure how I managed to stay so determined.I really think the 6.1 hba1c did it for me.When I tracked these foods and saw how they affected my blood sugar and of course my insulin I was able to stop snacking and eating these foods. There are many alternatives such as squash,cabbage,brussels,zucchini...you get the point.I do eat a lot of seafood, local beef ,pork and chicken.Eggs are my go to food when I have no time to make supper.I always have boiled eggs in the fridge for quick lunches and cheese for desert.Somehow this low carb diet has curbed my appetite and I am not as ravenously hungry as I used to be when I ate bread and starch. Those starchy foods set me off and I never feel satisfied eating them.I just keep wanting more.
