Well, I certainly lost a pound of heart muscle on that game - that was some excitement. (For those who don't care, the New England Patriots beat the Baltimore Ravens 35-31 in a squeaker in an American Football play-off game.)

I, for one, am glad that I don't make my living falling on 19 degree Fahrenheit hard turf.

My dh wasn't happy with the football game, Bill. He constantly tells me how he should never gamble because the teams he's sure will win often don't.

Dh leaves for China this morning. Dd leaves tomorrow. I'm going to her church this morning as her close friend is giving a farewell talk. He's going on a mission to Cambodia for two years!

After that, I'm off to yoga, book club, grocery shopping, and food prepping, so it's a busy day! I thought I was off the hook for any more "bad" meals as dd said she'd be out tonight. Her plans got cancelled so now I need to figure out her "last" dinner. That, and avoid all the treats at book club!

Thanks Mudpie and Michele! So far I am perfect in one of my playoff pool entries, so I am pretty stoked.

Made a great hash this morning with butternut squash, onion, yellow bell pepper and mushrooms. Best of all, hubby loved it.
