Well, the gardening will have to be put on hold. Last night was a really, really, really bad night with son #1. He basically threw up all night long. Yup, real fun. Hubby and I are totally exhausted and son #1 is completely wiped out. The only one with any sort of energy is my 6-year old who slept through all the drama. Oh well...

Oh, I must have misled. I bought physical lemons, not a lemon tree. I grow veggies but I don't have any citrus trees. I don't want to commit to citrus because my rental house is in a really low area that floods with storm surges, so citrus probably wouldn't survive long on this street. My BF does have a mandarin orange tree that produces oranges, though, and we are lucky to get great citrus here. One day I will grow citrus. Sadly mangoes wouldn't make it in North Florida. Too cold. Maybe an avocado tree would be ok? Figs and blueberries fo sho. And kiwis! Did you guys know kiwis can be grown throughout the entire US? You could grow them in Ohio slshappy! They are really easy to grow, too. One day I will have it all... you all know I love my fruit. Enjoy the farmer's market slshappy!

I'm not looking forward to losing an hour tomorrow. Emma was up at 6:15 this AM, but I sternly told her to lay down and she did quiet down for a little bit longer. I need to write it on a post-it so I remember the time change.

Emma and I enjoyed long walks on the beach last night and this morning. Now it's off to the gym and then to my chores. I'm still loving this sun after foggy February.

Fitmom, sorry about your night, that sounds rough. It sounds like everyone could use a nap today. Is your son better today? (Other than being tired)

Unfortunately I work early on Sunday so I'm going to miss an important hour of sleep. The night before last I didn't sleep. It was Dewey's first birthday and he had a big day (dog park, etc.). He was so exhausted he wouldn't get off the dog bed to come to bed with us, so he spent his first night downstairs. I don't know if that had something to do with my not sleeping! Last night was slightly better but I had weird dreams and woke up very early. Sigh.....

Fitmom-- is your son feeling better? Those nights are so hard!!!
Was it you that was anxious about your mammogram? I had mine yesterday and it was a piece of cake.... really.... and I am not at all well-endowed.

So I lost a post here, too... I was scanning to find it and I see a post from Bargoo that said "I killed my Herman"... I had to stop and reread for a minute.

Survived DSS birthday party with XW. More later.

Good afternoon everyone. So I can get better acquainted with everyone it would be helpful to know how many children everyone has and dogs.
I have three adult children- two married and one engaged to be married. We also have twin granddaughters that are now three months old. For those of you who do not have grandchildren it is the greatest!!! I would post photos but am not able yet as a nebbie.

No kids or dogs of my own but I walk 15 dogs weekly (I'm a commercial dogwalker). I have 2 cats, one of whom - Mudpie by name - is my 3FC avatar. I also have one DH (though we're not legally married) and 2 "nieces" (my cousin's girls) who I see regularly.

Two children (17 & 21), one dog (7.5 year old black Labrador) and two cats (both under 2 years). And a husband.
