michele lingerie is always a good idea - pets in the bed not so much.

It's funny that, as a pet person, I don't allow mine to sleep with me. They get to come in for "nap time" for 30 minutes in the afternoon sometimes.

I also won't sleep with my client's pets. I bring my own baby gate and make it clear, the first night, that no one comes into "my" room. They all get it and no one argues much. Some of the dogs have stood behind the baby gate looking sad/cute/appealing - everything in their repertoire - but I don't budge on this.

I sometimes wonder what kind of sex life someone can have with 2 dogs and 2 cats in their bed every night.

Good day all! DH and I are determined to get out on the water this morning so I'm going to go him out of bed at 7. But I'm going to soften it with a coffe (I'm grinding the beans and single filter dripping it for him - faaancy!)

DH and I had an awesome paddle this morning. Still not too hot, fairly calm water, and no speedboats or sailboats to manoeuver around. DH is starting to appreciate the benefits of working out early in the a.m. (tho' I don't consider 9-11 to be particularly early).

We are going to see "Cowboys & Aliens" tonite and I have my snack bag of rice crackers ready. I will indulge in a small diet pop.

Tomorrow we bike! I bought a rack for the back of Laffie and I'm curious to see if DH and I can assemble it without killing each other. We'll go for a local bike ride first, before things turn bloody . He will be asked to use a hacksaw on the doggie divider I bought - I'd better make sure that's put away before we tackle the rack .

Good evening all!

Dagmar

Happy Birthday, Bar of Chocolatey Goodness!

[I made that up. I've no idea what you derived your name from. But it sounds kinda cool, doesn't it?]

Hadn't thought of it in just that way.
I was on a message board once and a couple of people were chatting and wondered what bargoo meant
One said....been to a lot of bars , seen a lot of goo.
I thought that was pretty funny, I didn't tell them I was lurking.

Thanks all, for the birthday greetings. We went to PFChangs for lunch. I found I could have a delicious fairly low calorie lunch. I had grilled salmon with asparagus and brown rice. I had egg drop soup and a mini lemon desert, Calorie wise it was about 600 calories. After lunch we went to Border's who are closing and were having a big sale. My son bought me several books for my birthday and he always keeps me supplied with KCups for my Keurig. It was a great day.
