I've now begun my 6th year of maintaining a very large weight-loss.
To do this I had to change my perspective about dieting/maintenance,
and learn to view the ongoing process as an enjoyable hobby.

For years, part of that hobby has been my active participation on forums.
Recently, I purchased a domain, named DietHobby.com
and my-son-the-web-designer has built me a web-site for me to use
for a personal Blog. It just became operational during this month.

So, now it works, and I am now putting tons of information in it,
including my thoughts and links and videos.
(The search function, some minor technical functions, are still
being constructed,and until it is totally finished,
my site won't be submitted to the search engines.)

I hope you will visit me there,
and leave a comment letting me know that you did.
If you choose to comment, the registration process requires you
to go back to your e-mail and click a link, so the site knows
you really exist. This is a recreational enterprise, not a financial one.
This personal Blog at www.diethobby.com exists primarily as
a maintenance tool for me, but I am hoping that it will help others as well.

Nice job. I think that's a great tool for you to continue to maintain and for others to get information.

You could just add a RSS feed or something to allow readers to get updates that way.

DietHobby is still under construction.
My son-the-web-designer has to put the jobs that pay his bills ahead of me.

The Blogging and video section were finished first, so I could get started,
but the search, the subscription function and a few other technical things are still being built.
The very last thing will be a submission to the big search engines.
Until that happens, I'm only telling my forum friends about it.
I'm looking forward to being able to get e-mails telling me someone has posted,
because right now, I have to actually check out every blog to see that.
