And the reason is that I couldn't stay with the plan.
My plan was a target range of 1500-1600 calories average per day, and I kept drifting upward. And, in the last month, I failed to stay even within the 1600s because of a bad last two weeks.
Therefore, the conditions of the experiment were not met, so I can't say whether it was successful or not!
The fact is (I almost typo'ed that "the fat is"
) I am not maintaining my weight. I'm gaining. So it's time for me to stop thinking of maintenance and start thinking of weight loss.
I'm glad that I was able to maintain my weight for over two years after my initial low weight in 2007. And now, it's time to get back to that. Once I get down again, I'll restart my experiment and see how it goes...
And that's the last report on the experiment for now.
