Amy Bento Hi/Lo Extreme.

I guess the "Extreme" should have been an indicator...

Wow, great job Amanda!

Friday's plan:
gym - walked 1 mile to warm-up, 30 minutes tris & bis, 20 min HIIT on the stairmaster
B - protein pancake, 1/2 tbsp jam, 1 c. skim milk, coffee w/ 1 tbsp h&h
S - small banana
L - 3 oz. tuna mixed into 1 1/4 c. bean salsa
Snacks - 2 cups cut up carrots & celery, 6 oz. lowfat yogurt, hard boiled egg, 1 1/2 cups diced pineapple
D - Not sure. I have some chicken breasts thawing, and will either cook those for dinner, or cook them for a few lunches over the next few days if I end up doing something else. BF's sis & BIL surprised us last night, so we might end up doing something with them. If we cook at my house of course it will be healthy. If we eat out or elsewhere, I will eat healthily there too!

Bf's family coming into town is always an obstacle health-wise, so that's my obstacle to overcome this weekend! I won't drink alcohol, period, will get up early to get my exercise in, and will always carry healthy snacks so I don't end up hungry anywhere.

Oh, edited to add that yesterday was OP. I got really upset over something at work, but did not give in to the Snickers temptation sitting by the coffee maker or get a milkshake from a fast food place, and stayed OP, so giving myself a pat on the back and moving onto today!

Friday

B – Trader Joe’s fat free Greek yogurt with honey, 1/2 package of sliced strawberries

L - BBQ chicken salad - romaine, roasted corn, carrot shreddies, red cabbage, grape tomatoes, grilled chicken, a little bbq sauce, a little fat free ranch dressing, a few tortilla strips for crunch

S - tangelo

S - 2 Wasa crackers, 35 calorie low fat laughing cow cheese

D - Jason wants to go out for sushi, so it's either going to be sushi or home made pizza. Whatever we decide to do tonight, we'll do the other option for dinner tomorrow.

Yesterday I had a hard boiled egg planned for my morning snack, but ended up not eating that, so we did have eggs for dinner. I now realize what my binge food is. Not that I really binge on it, but I can't stop stealing bites while cooking. Anyway, that food? Cheese. Mostly shredded cheese. Specifically Sargento Mexican cheese blend. I must have stuffed 6 pinches of that while cooking my eggs (and then added some to the eggs). I'm sure that packed on a few calories to my otherwise OP day.

E~none. I didn't want to get up--I woke up with a strange sinus headache right behind my eyes. Thankfully it is going away.
B~toasted ww English muffin w/ LC light cheese (165)
S~hard boiled egg (100)
L~Italian something or other
S~none or an apple
D~either a chicken bulgar salad or I don't know what

Megan!

Yesterday - mostly on plan, except for one glass of wine. Not too shabby.

Planning for today:
B - Minibagel, scramble w/ veggies
S - Greek yogurt w/ strawberries
L - Giant salad - flank steak, grilled veggies, a laughing cow, carrots, cucumber, light dressing
S - Popcorn
D - Mexican Beef and Bean Bake (Picture a lasagna, but with zucchini slices instead of noodles, bell pepper, jalapeno, and onion cooked in with the ground beef, and mashed cooked pinto beans instead of sauce), side salad
S - NSA Ice Cream, Strawberries

So do you layer this like lasagna and bake it? What's on top?

Yesterday was pretty much OP, and within my calorie range. I'm having a little alcohol-free time as I was having too many evenings where a glass of wine for dinner "sounded good." I can't afford that - not the calories, particularly, but the fact that I eat more when I drink. It's back to a special occasion food. It helps that there's none in the house except some weird stuff someone gave us, and 2 cases of the Pinot Noir we made at the winery, but that's in the basement aging.....

B - cheerios with skim, walnuts; ww toast;
S - ff latte
L - salad of some sort. It's my lunch out with GFs, but everyplace we go offers a big salad
S - blueberry yogurt, HB egg, cottage cheese with pineapple, apple (these are the choices, I won't eat them all)
D - left over dirty rice, some sort of veg

Ex: tonight our square dance club is doing an exhibition dance at the Relay for Life - should be interesting as right now it's pouring rain! Supposed to clear by tonight - I hope they're right.

Yep, it's layered like a lasagna (zucchini layer, bean layer, meat and veggie layer, repeat), and I usually sprinkle half a cup or so of reduced fat cheddar on the top. Serve it with a dollop of FF or LF sour cream. It's really very satisfying for a Mexican food craving.

Pat, wine is so tempting. We recently bought a case (12 bottles) of white wine, but so far it's all sitting down in the basement. Except for the bottle of prosecco I used up in the dessert recipe for mother's day, but that doesn't count. Our local wine shop has a great selection and they give you a discount if you buy a whole case, so it's better to be stocked up, especially since here in Indiana you can't buy wine on Sundays!

Friday:
B - raisin bran, strawberries, skim milk
S - apple
L - @work meeting, Panera - smoked turkey sandwich (1/2), cafe classic salad w/a couple slices of chicken and lf vinaigrette, piece of baguette
S - tangelo
D - mediterranean veggie sandwich, slice of oat bran brad, 3 egg whites scrambled, little bit of butter
S - BLT's of the dessert I was making for cooking club
E - none

Antibiotic was making me crazy nauseous this morning, and I just couldn't stomach the eggs breakfast. So I replaced with a greek yogurt/strawberry/lowfat milk smoothie, which sat much better.

Of course, that meant I was out of yogurt, so I have to modify that snack - am replacing with a minibagel toasted with some pizza sauce and part skim mozzarella.
