Good morning! I did pretty well yesterday, but had 2 small cookies at a movie screening. I am counting an extra 200 calories for those yesterday just to be on the safe side. Still came in where I was planning, though.

L: Tuna salad on wheat bun, banana
S: Lowfat latte, strawberries
D: Chicken sausage (love these!), clems, broccoli, cashews
S: Out for coffee, so probably a skim latte or capp.

Just read the posts I missed from yesterday - darn BB didn't show me everything - Amanda, I have held 6 pounds of water before but never 15. I agree that there may be trouble with your scale...
I ended up eating a PB&J sandwich and a glass of skim milk about 9:30 pm last night. The day came in close to okay on calories - but certainly not as I'd planned!
Today
B - cheerios, walnuts, skim milk, 1/2 banana, ww toast
S - clementine
L - bean burrito
S - cottage cheese, blueberries
D - shrimp, green beans, asparagus, rice
I'm leaving tomorrow morning for a 3 day quilting retreat. Starting Thurs evening they provide lunch and dinner. Hopefully there will be some healthy choices. I've got breakfast ready to go, as well as some fruit and cottage cheese for snacks. I found some Jello pudding that's 110 calories, and has no artificial sweetening. And I have individually wrapped dark chocolates - just enough! I come home Sat night, and get to put the house back in order for DH's return Monday.
Today wound up totally different from my plan - unexpected thunderstorms and tornadoes kept me from going to the hospital. DH still went because he got out of his office before the weather moved in...
So, I did exercise - 45 mins on the elliptical, 25 mins of swiss ball agony

Just popping in to let you know that this shrimp paprika saute that I got from Eating Well was delish! I ended up using the asparagus in place of the green beans rather than in addition, and I added several mushrooms that I would have ended up throwing out otherwise. But it has a lovely flavor. I'll post it in the recipe thread.
OP, Yay! The water weight is trickling off (apparently my body -can- hold 15 lbs of water. Scary) and I'm feeling good.

Okay, every day this week I have veered off plan (stress, lack of discipline, depression over my new boss...who knows, but I can't let those things affect my eating!), and every morning I still try to plan out an OP day... So I'm going to try again, today, and try to stay OP.
Amanda, did you get a new scale? How do you know that 15 lbs is real? (I mean real in the sense that it is water weight, as opposed to just your scale being insane/broken.) Way to be OP!

NO snacks unless genuinely ravenous. I am NOT "entitled" to dessert.
I have had a great OP week so far and what do I have to show for it? Maintenance. I'm still stuck, but at least I'm no longer gaining.

No new scale - but would the old scale a) measure Sarah about where she always is with no 15 lb blip, b) weigh 2 10-lb dumbbells appropriately, and c) become 3 lbs closer to "average" each day? Today I'm only 2 lbs up from my ticker weight. WEIRD BODY.
Have decided to change my exercise plan to: 55 min Yoga Booty Ballet, 55 min elliptical, squat-thrust tabata, and the walk to the store (need chili powder).
Allison- bummer about the not losing, but not gaining is good, too!

Today -
Exercise - it is starting to sound like an excuse, but I was in a decent amount of pain when I woke up this morning so didn't exercise. Am considering calling my plastic surgeon to see if it is something I should be worried about - the right breast has continued to hurt all day today and it normally stops by now... If I get home in time tonight I'll ride the exercise bike for a little while.

I have to get my water back up - I have had about 2 ounces today... So water goal: 80 ounces today
Got home later than I planned and gave in to the no-exercise demon in my head. DH is staying at the hospital overnight, so I'm going to bed. On the upside, I did get all of my water in today and ate an OP dinner at the hospital cafeteria...
Switched out my dessert for a higher calorie option...tried to resist, and failed. Still, it was an extra 100 calories, and not the end of the world. And now I'm planning for tomorrow:

Another OP day yesterday despite one cocktail (using Baja Bob's sf mixer). The scale remained the same. I thought it would have gone down half a pound, but I didn't sleep well. I've really got to get DH to go to bed AFTER me. He falls asleep so fast and SNORES regardless of how many times I bop him (and he uses Breath Right strips to boot). I spent an hour getting more and more worked up last night. Every 10 minutes, just as I'm finally relaxing and falling asleep, he'd start again. And of course he has no recollection the next morning although he cracks jokes about his bruised ribs!
