Has anyone else tried the new variety of Fiber One Caramel Delight? I bought a box and it tasted exactly light Cinnamon Toast Crunch to me! I don't think this is a good thing. It just seems too sugary, "too good to be true" to me! The first ingredient is listed as "whole grains", not "enriched".

Fri 2/1:
B - 1 c. Fiber One Caramel Delight, 1 c. skim milk, coffee w/ 1 T. h&h
S - 2 kiwis, 1/2 oz. raw almonds
L - lt. wheat hamburger bun, MF Garden veggies patty, 2 1/2 c. carrots, celery, broccoli & cauliflower
S - 1/2 oz. raw almonds, 6 oz. Dannon Light & Fit Yogurt, med. pear
gym - NRLW stage 1A workout 5, elliptical or stair master
D - ? salmon w/ veggies?

Hey, no - I haven't tried it. Sadly, after a bad Kashi Go Lean Crunch incident (remembered as Crunchgate 2006) I no longer keep cold cereal in the house That caramel stuff sounds fab though!

Glory. I too tend to always eat the same things (to the point of being almost ashamed to post my meals here, because I always feel like people will shake their heads thinking there's not enough variety in my diet--silly, I know).

Ha, I just get on kicks! I make 5 salads on Sunday and baggie up 5 portions of veggies. I adore tangelos, so I always eat them in season. I pick berries based on what's cheapest, so I tend to eat the same ones in batches. Dinners do vary, but I would prefer to cook one night and then eat leftovers!

Really for me, the duplication is EASIER, I don't even have to count calories!

02/02:

B - 2 small tangerines, 1 omelette (1 egg + 2 whites), 2 Wasa crackers, 1 slice of chicken ham, 1/2 tomato
L - Various veggies, 1 soy steak w/ 20 ml sauce, 2 rice crackers, 100g low-fat cottage cheese + raspberries
S - 2 chocolate cookies (small, not MacDo's size)
D - Green beans, 1 steamed meat bun, 1 fat-free yogurt.

Exercise: 1h weight-lifting

Not too thrilled on the snack, but considering that I was at friends from 2pm to 10pm and only ate them because I was hungry at 6 and there wasn't anything else to eat, I think I didn't do so bad after all.

Well, let's see. Today was not awful once I add up the calories....

S - tea and 2 graham cracker squares w/1 TBSP pb

Sunday - started well, but gave into weird pizza craving

B - 2 Kashi waffles, 1 with natural peanut butter, 1 with cherry butter

L - Turkey sandwich on organic sprouted bread, honey mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion, a little avocado, side of grapes

S - 1/2 carton strawberries

S - small, no sugar added mocha, almond biscotti

D - 3 pieces of pizza (!), thin crust, garlic, sun dried tomato, a little feta cheese, absolutely decadently delicious, should have stopped at 2 pieces! Should have ordered the 12" to split and not the 16", ah well, I haven't had pizza restaurant pizza since September, so I'm sure it won't kill me. I just had leftover chicken marsala at home, not sure why I yielded to temptation like that, I NEVER eat pizza! So good though, at least it was thin crust
