Do I remember what I ate since friday? Not really. Here's what I can recall though . . .

Friday:
B - probably oat bran w/blueberries & skim milk
S - some kind of fruit
L - ? I forgot
S - some more fruit
D - leftover wontons, some rice, and a bunch of frozen veggies, plus a glass of wine

Saturday:
B - ? Cheerios I think, plus fruit and milk.
L - 3/4 of a chicken fajita burrito from Chiptle, no cheese.
S - ice cream and a bunch of raspberries
D - ?? Why can I not remember this? I'm sure it was either leftovers or pasta but I don't remember what.
S - FF yogurt with honey and berries and cheerios

Sunday:
B - blueberry and raspberry pancakes, scrambled egg whites
L - ?? I have no memory of this meal.
S - bread, we baked some. Probably with some cheese on it.
D - cooking light moroccan chili, cooking light corn casserole, two glasses white wine, small glass of dessert wine

Monday:
B - multigrain cheerios w/the usual
L - PB&J on wheat, some carrot sticks, some lettuce w/feta cheese
S - a few berries, a banana, half a sprite, half a nectarine, half cup of watermelon juice
D - one BBQ steak sandwich, a bunch of potato wedges w/ketchup, some baked beans, handful of broccoli, and a bunch of zucchini chips

What a sad accounting of my weekend's food. Oh well, the important part was the burrito and the ice cream, everything else was more or less OP.

Today so far:
B - multigrain cheerios w/blueberries and skim milk
S - plum
L - leftover corn casserole, broccoli, and baked beans
S - nectarine, zucchini chips, yogurt
D - prob. leftovers.

When did I last post? No clue, and am too lazy to look. Anyway, the last two days weren't pretty. Sunday due to a huge day with playgroup (and snacks), lunch out (friend's crisis), and dinner out (DH's craving). Yesterday, I just munched.

Today was fantastic though. Somebody brought a trough of really good chocolate chip cookies to work (I've had them before), and I didn't even have a single one. Hooray me!

B-Heart healthy cereal w/ Fiber One, blueberries & soymilk, coffee w/ skim
S-banana
L-leftover chicken fajita, whole wheat pita, yogurt, 1/2 oz cheese
S-carrots & cauliflower w/ hummus
S (after swim)-plum, V8
D-homemade sausage/lentil soup (YUM) w/ couscous, 2 sq dk chocolate
S-Kudos bar

If I get hungry again I'll have a peach. Otherwise, I'm done for the day. Totals up to about 1650 calories.

It is so nice to have a good day. I feel almost competent.

Yesterday continued...
S - slice of bread w/soft cheese
D - steak sandwich, corn and parmesan flan, some potato wedges
S - half a Cadbury fruit & nut bar (I think it was a king size one...) plus some milk.

Today's plan:
B - raisin bran (200) w/blueberries (8) and skim milk (85)
S - plum (30)
L - leftover moroccan chickpea chili and 1/2 C rice
S - nectarine (60) and banana (105)
D (plan) - chicken tortilla soup, leftover corn flan

ennay, wasn't that post-race recovery food?

I did not have a rebound day after a good Tuesday, and Wednesday was good too.

Sept 5:
S (pre-run): banana
B: Heart healthy cereal w/ added Fiber one, blueberries, & soy milk, coffee w/ skim
S: big apple
L: Sausage/lentil soup w/ couscous, yogurt
S: carrots & cauliflower w/ hummus
S: V8, plum
D: Potstickers (from frozen, DH cooked), peach, half plum
S: Kudos bar
S: cheerios

About 1800 calories. That should be about a 700 deficit on a run day.

Today, Sept 6 (so far):
B: HH cereal w/ Fiber One & Soymilk, banana, coffee w/ skim
S: pear ??
L: leftover Panda Express, some chow mein, lots of steamed veggies, and I think it was Mongolian beef and Mandarin chicken. (Side note--I'm actually surprised at how reasonable PE calorie counts are, and I did check the serving sizes against the web site once to make sure it wasn't actually double or something).

I'll check back on the rest later. I'm guessing it'll be some sort of pasta for dinner, and maybe I'll roast a zucchini for DD & I.

OK. Finishing up Sept 6:

After breakfast:
S: 1/2 oz cheese, pear
L: leftover Panda, yogurt, V8, 1 sq dk choc
S: pretzels (almost immediately after lunch)
S: cauliflower & carrots w/ hummus
S: misc samples at Costco (I was actually pretty restrained but there it was), 1/2 fruit leather
D: spaghetti w/ marinara & Parmesan, spinach salad w/ sm amt of Italian, graham cracker w/ a cheesecake-like spread (dessert), 1 sq dk choc

That brings me to about 1900 for the day, give or take since I have to guess about the Costco stuff. I'm fighting off the munchies for more right now, but 3 days in a row under 2000 is basically unheard of in these here parts for several years now, and I want to make it. So I'm making it.

So, did anybody else eat today?

Breakfast -- 1/4 c. cottage cheese, 1/2 apple, bite of PB on ww toast
Snack -- rest of apple, coffee w/ cream
Lunch -- 4 oz. leftover sirloin steak, 9 baby carrots
Snack -- 1/2 a protein bar
Dinner -- 5 oz grilled salmon w/ homemade fish sauce (mayo, nf yogurt, and dill relish), 1/2 c. green beans, 3-4 more baby carrots
Snack -- grapes, brazil nuts

Total is around 1300 cals. A little high in percentage fat than usual, thanks to the mayo in the fish sauce, brazil nuts, salmon, and steak, but not too bad. And, trust me, I don't eat salmon and sirloin every day!

ugh...ugh...ick.

We were invited to a birthday party today from 11 am - 1pm so I wasnt expecting lunch to be great.

Who has a kids birthday party from 11 - 1 and has no food? at 1 pm she served dark chocolate brownies which were really not very good and none of the kids ate them. (I actually liked it but I like bitter dark chocolate)

dd was crying she was so hungry, so I made the "naptime" excuse and got out of there and right down the street was McD's. With wails of "I'm hungry" from the back and my head spinning from a brownie only lunch.....

The good news is I ordered a kids meal for dd and ds to share and the 3 of us split the kids size fries...the bad news is they put mayo on my burger despite the request not to and I was so hungry I wasnt going back so ....
