You know why I joined LAWL? It was simply to have accountability. I like the idea of knowing the folks at the center...NOT having weekly group meetings to go to...weighing in whenever I want. When you boil programs down, they're really a lot alike. I just needed someone to answer to. Does that make sense? It seems odd, but it works for me!

Thank you so much for the words of encouragement. I am only 18 and paying for the lawl plan was the most amount of money that I had ever spent at one time and it freaked me completely out. I cried and thought that I had done a terrible thing and that I had wasted my money, but when I saw that 3 lbs. drop in the first week I actually believed that I can and WILL do this! I am so happy that I made the decision to join LAWL and I can't wait to see the end results!!!!

tigerpaw--good luck--sounds like you are doing great. It is an overwhelming amount of money up front and I know that's what helps so many stay accountable (to THEMSELVES!!). Welcome!

Thanks for bumping this up. It is just what I needed to see before I go in this morning to talk to the center for the first time. I have been vaccillating and struggling for a while to decide what program to do and this forum has helped me tremendously in making that decision.

Wish me luck. If all goes well, I expect to start LAWL very shortly.
