Default New to this-looking for some advice! LONG!

Hello all!
I am looking for guidance, support, and encouragement!
I am a 22 y/o, I gave birth 5 years ago (although it was 5 years ago, I still like to call this "baby weight!")
I am 5'1", and after getting up to 160 after getting the depo shot when dd was born, I managed to lose the weight (COMPLETELY unconciously) last time I weighed myself was July of last year, and I was 130. I was in a size 7 and I FELT AND LOOKED GREAT! Well, after divorce, and lots of eating out, I tried my jeans on one day and looked at myself completely disgusted! I signed up for Bally's last year in August (oddly enough, I was 130 wanting to get down to my pre-baby weigh of 115) and was NOT using my membership at all. I got on the scale about a month ago and I was a tad over 150 (hard to tell with a dial scale, it looked around 145) I bought a digital scale a week later and it was more close to 150)
Anyway, did my measurements, arms are 12 3/4, hips are 37, and belly is 36 1/2.
I am disgusted with myself at this point, so my gym rat boyfriend (weight lifts at least 5 times a week) decide to start going back to my gym, and follow a strict "diet" (I use the term loosely because I am just doing portion control of much healthier foods) I stopped drinking pop, stopped eating wings and pizza logs with fries every day, stopped getting ice cream 3 times a week, stopped eating a block of cheese a week. Here's what I'm doing now.
17 oz of water between 8 and noon.
Banana with yogurt for breakfast at 8
2 honey graham crackers for snack at 10:30
Lean Cuisine with grapes and another 17 oz of water at 12:30
Natures Valley Oats + Honey granola bar for snack at 2:30
Grilled chicken with cauliflower or brocolli for dinner at 5:30 with another 17 oz of water
1 cup of mixed fruit (fresh-pineapple, grapes, apples, canteloupe) at 7:30
I go to the gym at least 3 days a week, 25 min of cardio, and 3 sets of 10 reps of squats, chest, tris, bis, shoulders, and back (at least a 40 minute lifting workout) and usually can drink another bottle of water at this time
I have not lost A SINGLE POUND since I started on August 6th. I try to keep my calories around 1200, and I can't stress to you how my diet has changed, before this, I hadn't eaten a fruit or veggie in MONTHS. I am very concious about what goes in my mouth and I am eager to get to the gym. I love the feeling of sweat dripping down me because I know its putting me closer to my goal of 120. I wasn't hoping for a miracle, but at this point, I would be happy with even just 2 or 3 pounds! I don't feel my clothes fitting looser, boyfriend says my sides look slimmer, the measurements are hard to use, because they ARE going down, but we can never remember exactly where we measured and I'm convinced that the measurements are lying.
I'm ready to give up. I do miss eating my old junk food, but I was so ready to get in to this and start seeing results but I am so discouraged!

Do NOT give up - your are on the right road - just think of it as an uphill battle and it will take a little extra to get there.

When lifting wts your body/muscles retain water to help them move fluently and also muscles weighes more than fat.....even though You dont see the scale moving, you are loosing fat. check out this womens wt lifting website - www.stumptuous.com it has great diet and workout info.

Keep us posted on how you are doing.

You should join us in the Whole Foods group or even in calorie counters. A lot of what you are eating is considered whole foods (we cut out as many processed foods as possible) and we watch our intake to make sure we eat the proper amount of calories, protein, fat, etc. You are certainly doing the right thing so far so don't give up! It's only been a couple of weeks and I'm sure you'll be at goal in no time if you continue what you've been doing!
