Philosopher, I'm sorry. With moving and so on, I missed this thread.
When I started, I walk almost 3 miles almost every day. When I'm good, I do a four day split of weight lifting as suggested by the gals at Ladies who Lift and taken from

For cardio, I still walk or bike or dance in front of the TV with a hrm on. I just try to keep my heart rate up some for 20 minutes or a half hour.
I try to eat foods in as natural a state as I can find ... whole foods basically. Low fat and I avoid overt carbs.
I'm tired and I'm babbling but I can try to be smarter for you in the morning.
